My wife and I travel in a 1973 GMC highway coach converted to an RV called Opti-Force 1. We are part time travellers, happy grandparents, and enjoy quiet. Our bus is clean and in good repair, and we are totally self sufficient. We have a Jeep that tailgates us everywhere we go.
Good overall handy person, can cook a mean meal as well. Fully bi-lingual (english and french). We are avid recumbent cyclists as well.
No pets at this time, but love animals.
a fully renovated 1973 GMC Buffalo( 4905A) clean, safe, and fun. Behind it we tow a Jeep for local excursions.
Lovely couple, with a cool diy rig that was fun to tour!
There aren't enough words in the english or french dictionary to say what wonderful guests these folks were! They graciously gave tours of their bus to our curious friends and neighbors. We feel like we probably earned at least one college credit for what we learned from these two. If you don't learn something from them than you already know it all. We were lucky to have hosted them and look forward to seeing them again.
very polite couple. yvan has done an amazing job restoring an older bus.
These two are really nice couple. Yvan was a big help with my truck repairs. They are welcome back to stay anytime. It was a real pleasure hosting them.
Stayed at Yvan's Sept 2017. great host providing lots of advice for traveling into Quebec, City and Granby. His property is part of a shop on a busy street, but surprisingly quiet through the night. Lots of room for parking and maneuvering.
We camped with two other couples in our truck and travel trailer.
Thanks for the hospitality, Yvan
Had a nice time staying 2 nights (Sept.14-15) at this location. Host was friendly and shared information on the area as well as a few traveling apps. Recommend staying at this place while traveling. Lots of parking area and easy access for RV's.
We stayed 2 nights at Yvan's in Granby. Sept 14 & 15. Easy access with lots of parking. Yvan was very helpful and arranged for a required oil change for our truck. He also helped us with directions and iPhone apps to help with our travels.
There is plenty of room to park multiple rigs at this location, no tight approaches or cramped quarters.
Yvan is also a bus conversion enthusiast; we had a great conversation about the process and we are looking forward to continuing this new friendship.
Yvan was great to message with and very accommodating for our ever changing travel plans. I am sorry to say we did not get a chance to stay at their host location, but should we find ourselves in the area again and need a place for the night, we will absolutely contact Yvan again.
