I am a retired Microbiologist and husband owned a commercial cleaning business. We have been travelling the U.S in the fall and plan to do so every year. Other than that, we like to get out of the cold in the winter, so we usually rent a place in Florida. Spring and summer are spent here in Michigan. My children and grandchildren live nearby, so when we are home, I babysit a day or two a week. Life is good!
I like to garden and can, but have slowed down the last few years. I also like to sew and quilt. Husband likes to putz around in the garage.
We have stayed with a few boondockers welcome members and they were great people! We also did some boondocking in Utah amongst the beautiful red stone cliffs. And a few Walmart and Truck stop parking!
We live a few miles south of Ann Arbor, Mi. Ann Arbor is a great college town with lots of things to do and see. Lots of great restaurants with outdoor seating in summer. Home to the Ann Arbor Art Fair which is highly visited for quality art and jewelry. Saline is home to the Celtic Festival in July.
24 ft. travel trailer with no slides, pulled by an F-150 crew cab.
Thoroughly enjoyed meeting our guests! Had fun swapping stories around the campfire! Welcome back anytime! Hope to stop by their place on one of our cross country trips.
Really enjoyed your stay and chatting with you. Travel safe and enjoy the ride. I hope to make it to Michigan and will definitely look you up. If you Re back in our area please come visit.
S & D (can't give names) were my first Boondockers. They are very pleasant and friendly. Loved chatting with them and having them as guests. I would highly recommend them as Boondockers. We even had a few meals together and that was enjoyable. Hope to see them again!
Although thier visit was short, we thoroughly enjoyed Dave and Sally's company. We were very happy to have them hunker down inside with us during a very rare tornado warning in our immediate area. They are down to earth and family focused just like us. We hope to get to Michigan for a stay with them as they enlightened us about some great places to visit.
We enjoyed hosting Miss Prim they were quiet and enjoyed some museum exploring, we were excited to hear of there adventures of the local attractions, they told us about there next adventure in there home area, and we are excited to visit them.
We enjoyed having wine on our back patio with this couple very fun to be with hope they come back some day we would recommend them to anyone.
We had a nice visit with this couple as we hosted them for a night. Traded a beer on the back porch and exchanged great parks and attraction ideas with each other. Hope to see them again near their home and visit a couple of great spots they told us of.
We enjoyed hosting this couple and their grandson. We even ended up having people in common. Look forward to taking them up on their offer to host us. :)
We had a great overnight stay at Miss Prim’s location. They could not be nicer and their spot was great. They have lovely mowed trails around their property and are super accommodating folks. They were great with our dogs;our little dog would have stayed with them forever if we had left her! We hope to come back sometime, as these folks are a joy.
I stayed at this location while visiting my sister and her family nearby. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, provided 15 amp power, and helped me fill my tires before taking off a few days later! Their yard had plenty of room to turn around and trails for me to walk my dogs on! I would definitely recommend this location to anyone passing through the Ann Arbor area!
Very nice hosts with a large quiet/private area to accommodate our needs.
Again, many thanks!
