We are RV-wise and previous occasional full-timers, having RV'd since 1973 with everything except class B's and tents. We are retired, including as a military officer and a business owner. We have raised four children, two boys and two girls, with greatly mixed results...
We now have a late-model Lazy Daze 27-foot Rear Bath. Our last RV was a 40-foot Country Coach (diesel with eight really big wheels) that was "taken out" by its four-door 1200-series Norcold refrigerator, and, so, we are no longer fans of absorption refrigerators.
We are really happy with where we have settled and are not traveling as much lately, but we enjoy listening to others' stories just the same as if we were there when they were. We are social, but not careless or reckless. We would very much enjoy playing bridge with others who do not take the game too seriously, e.g., table talk is fun.
We have been Thousand Trails and now Encore members since 1978 or so. We remain members of our Country Coachers FMCA chapter, but more like their mascot. We are members of our area's Lazy Daze Chapter as well.
We are talkers, social, nonsmokers, rare drinkers, ex-square dancers (but maybe not forever?), not golfers, avid advice givers and RV knowledgeable, having lived in everything except class B's and tents. ;->
We ourselves are new to boondocking, but gonna' go there from now on when not in one of our membership campgrounds, although we do like nice RV parks... Oh, well.
We now have a late-model Lazy Daze 27-foot Rear Bath. Our last RV here was a 40-foot Country Coach (diesel with eight really big wheels and three slides) and we lost it to a Norcold fire. Prior to moving here, we have had a Winnebago Chieftan and a Southwind 35 footer and a Terry camping trailer, etc.
