We are a "young" retired military family with 10yr old twins. We launched full-time RVing in 2014 from Las Vegas and have been to nearly all 50 states, including Alaska and Hawaii. We are an outdoor family that enjoys hiking, mountain climbing, fishing and museums. Our children love to meet new people of all ages and so do we.
We recently purchased a home 🏡 and travel as much as possible. Of course, first thing we did was put in an RV pad for all of our friends to be able to stop by!
Southern Nevada, Utah and up-state New York!
Originally from Ohio and Florida, spent 10 years in Las Vegas
30’ Grand Design pulled by a F-250
They stayed with me one night. Prompt, quiet, nice trailer, overall a great experience. Their kids were exceedingly polite, family is welcome any time!
The "Fourtheroad" family recently stayed one night at my place and couldn't have been nicer. They are a young family giving their children the experience of a lifetime. Dad wanted to spend more time with his family, so they decided this was how to do it! They are a new breed of young parents doing it a bit differently and I'm glad I could get to know them even for a short time. No reservations in recommending them as guests.
We received a request to stay from these people on February 18, I responded quickly (with in a couple of hour) and as of today February 22, 2016 have not gotten any reply.
Just a heads up for others.
Thanks so much for our 5-day stay at your lovely home RV pad. You have a little slice of heaven there. We enjoyed meeting you both and your children who are both so polite and intelligent. During our stay, we saw the local Sandhill Cranes dancing and singing and could hear owls hooting at night. So peaceful, so relaxing, we'd like to come back again when we can see more of the area, instead of just fixing the RV. We greatly enjoyed our time there and hope to come back again sometime. Thanks so much! J & T
We really enjoyed our stay with K & M at their beautiful home on a lake. The pad was perfect and level for our RV with 30 amp and water access. The location was easy to find yet secluded enough to feel like real camping. Thanks for the tip to visit Silver Springs State Park, we loved our hike (and Sofi did too!)
Fourtheroad was super accommodating and super friendly! It was a great stop for our first stay with boondockers!
Delightful host, secluded spot filled with wildlife, trees and a pond.
What a lovely place to stay! Peaceful, quiet with lots of nature to enjoy. Numerous beautiful springs surround the property. Many small, wonderful restaurants. There is a tiny, sweet VFW within 15 miles for those Boondocking vets. Thanks so much to these wonderful hosts. Trucker 105 and Vic
We had the best time on this peaceful and beautiful property! Thank you so, so much, Keith and Michele! We hope to return. THANK YOU!
Beautiful paved spot right next to a lovely pond. We took our pups for a walk around the neighborhood and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. Thank you Lake O’Nello!
The hosts are very nice and hospitality, we enjoyed their company. The location was beautiful and quiet. Due to their extensive experience at the RV lifestyle, they had some great advice for us newbies.
I have to say a great family and great place we thank them so much for there hospitality an spot that was perfect for us. Hope they can visit us sometime. Easy back in an exit. Thanks again!!!
Stayed here for two nights. By far one of the nicest places we have stayed so far. A lovely, rural lakeside setting. Our hosts were very helpful and hospitable. They suggested that we take the glass bottom boat tour at Silver Springs State Park. We would love to stay here again.
A great little spot, and the hosts were awesome. A nice concrete and level pad, great View of the lake and a good area to walk the dog.
Beautiful property and the nicest family! An actual back in RV pad with W/E for a small fee, under shady oak trees.
On our second stay wandering around Florida our family had another pleasant stop at Relaxing Lake O’Nello and got to see more wildlife and the little ones got to play on the trampoline. Great location and easy access to I75.
The RV pad is very large and spacious. You back right up to O’Nello Lake. Barred Owls just had babies in the trees above our camper. We got to see and HEAR (lol) the mating dance of the Sandhill Cranes. The lake is just beautiful! So serene! I would actually love to live here! The family is great! Very inviting and helpful. We ended up staying 3 nights we liked it so much. Silver Springs SUP paddle boarding is a MUST! Be careful of gators. I paddled right up on a 10 footer, but well worth it seeing the clear blue water.
We had a wonderful stay at Relaxing Lak Onello. Even though we had a downpour our site remained dry and had an easy in and out with our 42 ft 5th wheel. Great Hosts!!!
What a great little escape. Host has a concrete pad with water and elec for your rig. Overlooks the water. We would def. stay again.
We had a relaxing and bonding stay at Relaxing Lake O’Nello with this family as a family of four ourselves and retired military we bonded on many levels. The location was on our route and right down the street from a family owned New England seafood restaurant and a ice cream parlor next door, what more can you ask for with two toddlers ?They recommended Silver Spring State park down the street that we would highly recommend for young children and we went back with our family SUP board. Thanks for the Audubon App recommendation and giving our children a opportunity to see Sandhills Cranes up close and personal. A highly recommended stay.
We enjoyed our stay. Hosts were great. Glad to have electric as we needed AC
We were able to stay 5 nights and it was great! We fished and relaxed right on the small lake in the back of the house, and we visited some of the other area lakes too! Friendly and accommodating family; always had tips for us and were very helpful. We would surely return.
