We both lived in Austin, Texas, way too long before deciding it was time to sell the house and explore the country as full-timers. For three years, our home was wherever we parked our coach. Now we have come full circle and moved back into a sticks & bricks. We now have Bend, Oregon, as our home base and travel in our RV part-time.
We have one cat that never goes outside when traveling without his harness & leash.
Escape 5.0TA, a small fiberglass 5th wheel, towed by a Ford F-150.
Glad to accommodate robthey. Because of the forecast they had to leave early to get ahead of the rain. Forecast was for flash flood. Had 4.5 inches.
Enjoyed having robthey stay for a few days while they were traveling across the country. Safe travels and come back again.
its always fun to meet other like-minded RV'ers and hear about their experiences. Thank you Robthey for choosing us to host you. it was fun chatting and hosting you. Enjoy the rest of your trip and visits with family. please look us up if you are in the area again. oh, and that cheesecake was sooooo good!!! thanks again. take care and Happy Trails!
Our visit was so enjoyable with Robthey's and their cat Mooch. They gave us a tour of their new Esacpe 5th wheel, as we are interested in the fiberglass "egg" type trailers. They pointed out everything they like about it, right down to the cat porch they built in to the cargo bay, how unique for Mooch. It's so fun to see the individualness that each RVer brings to the use of their RV. Mooch's cat porch is a winner. Great job Robthey's. Hope to see you on your return trip. Anytime is a great time with this couple.
Graciously showed us their cute, little RV since it was a model we might be interested in. Off on a great adventure to add to the many they’ve been on. Perfect guests.
