When I bought my Roadtrek, my goal was to go to 50 states in five years. I haven't made it and it doesn't look like I will. I've spent most of my RV time finding wonderful places in California that I didn't know existed although I was born here.I did take a three monther with my daughter from California to Texas. I also went on a caravan with my friend in her fifth wheel to Alaska. It was the highlight of my RVing life. I belong to RVing Women, Freewheelers.
No particular skills but I can direct you to several places for RV care.
I have a 90 lb German Shepherd Dog. Ocassionally he serves as an assistant dog. He is apprehensive around little dogs (who usually think they can take him on) but does not like big dogs. It seems they want to challenge him. If they look at each other and communicate in dog language, it's not pleasant. If you have animals we can accommodate separation arrangements. He also competes in Nosework/Scentwork competitions. He's good; his handler (me) sucks. He's people friendly and loves kids.
Rural community between Sacramento and South Lake Tahoo. However the city is fast approaching. Plenty of shopping nearby.
I have a 21' Roadtrek.
My family and I had a lovely stay here. Connie and her son had some long chats and ended up sharing a pizza for dinner one night.
If you stay here or in the area we highly recommend eating at Heyday in Placerville! They have the best gourmet pizza ever!
Roadtrekgrandma was SO accommodating!
We had a great time visiting over wine and popcorn!
The property is beautiful, and the parking spot is great for a van like mine! (my vas is 24 feet)
I look forward to visiting here again!
RoadtrekGramma is a great host, and we had a nice time visiting with her and her daughter. We loved her large and well mannered dog being on patrol too. It is a very quiet and safe spot. The area roads are great for walking or biking and exploring. Very picturesque!
