I am married to Linda Dinse, who is a retired Children's Librarian, fiber artist, ham radio operator and Master Gardener.
We built our Vardo in 2007 and have traveled to the Black Hills twice, Texas twice and the East coast. The Vardo is solar powered. We do not need any hook ups though we are also wired for AC.
We have a portable shower tent and porta-potty.
I like to write about antique radio technology and have written several poems some of which have been published
I have written a few short stories, and am in the process of writing my memoirs of my thirty-one years in the Air Force, titled "Hardtack and Marshmallows."
My wife and I are looking forward to traveling in order to paint some of the beauty of this great land. I am also an artist in H2O oils.
I have sold several of my paintings and donated some of my work to raise money for various charities.
We travel with our 8 year old Australian Shephard, Maddie. She is not a barker and has been trained by me.
At Seventy years of age, I am in good health, and recently, reversed my Diabetes, and am off Insulin.
I call my Art...Art For The Soul.
I have taught Watercolor classes and have helped others build their own Vardo.
My goal in my remaining years is to just travel and meet new friends, and maybe give some help or support along the way.

Our Vardo was built by me in 2007. It is Solar Powered, with a 200 amp service. It is a traditional Bowtop wagon. Has a full size bed and bench seats with a pullout table. Interior is decorated with a floral and lace theme. Single axle trailer that is easy to maneuver at remote sites.
