We're two friendly, curious, appreciative retirees who love to travel, meet new people, and discover the many beautiful gems of wherever we go.
Dan is pretty handy with tools.
Not that travel with us. One cat at home.
We don't have any favorite boondocking locations - every place we've boondocked has been good or better. We have used members of this organization, Walmart parking lots, BLM land, and casinos. Our preference is to stay with fellow members, but some of the BLM sites have been very good, too.
2005 Rialta - 22 ft. Class B (tho sometimes it's considered a B+). It's a little wider than a van, but not much.
We had the pleasure of hosting Jean and Daniel for a night on their journey back home. We had a very pleasant conversation and our intuition was confirmed. These people are great! They also are devoted educators. I have the utmost respect for teachers, an utterly selfless profession. Weather and time didn't allow much visiting but maybe we will be lucky enough to host them again. I'll have the fire pit ready next time!
Jean & Daniel stopped by on their journey for one night on their way to Canada and beyond.... We enjoyed visiting with them and wish them many happy trips in their future.
I had a wonderful time visiting with Jean & Daniel. I knew before I even met them that they would be great guests because they were friends of Jill & Thayer who were guests last year. And I was not disappointed. I loved having them here and tried not to monopolize their time too much. I had some free and and spend a day with them sightseeing and visiting sites and attractions that many people miss when visiting the falls area. Jean & Daniel ... enjoy the rest of your trip to my home province (Nova Scotia). I highly recommend Jean and Daniel as guests for any BDW member. Karsten (Karsty) PS: I am looking forward to visiting them in the PNW when I do my Alaska trip in the future.
They stayed here for a night and visited in the AM. A very nice couple enjoying their retirement.
Dan and Jean provided my first stop over in the U.S. Interesting and gracious hosts. Dan makes a great latte.
I would def recommend jeananddaniel to others to boondock with. Very welcoming and just some really cool folks. I really enjoyed talking to them and also enjoyed a nice dinner with them that they prepared. Thanks again and great meeting y'all
We didn't get to spend that much time with Jean and Dan since I was visiting a friend but my parents did and very much enjoyed them. Our stay was comfortable and they were warm and friendly. I would definitely recommend their place to anyone exploring Edmonds.
Great location and excellent hosts. We really enjoyed our stay. We hope to be back this way.
We stayed with Dan for 2 nights in early March 2017 while we visited family in Seattle. Although all communication prior to our arrival was done with Jean on the computer, she was away visiting family when we stayed there. She was very quick in her responses and and very friendly and informative, we were disappointed to not have met. Dan however was a most WONDERFUL host. A very interesting man and we had some great conversations!!! We felt VERY welcome and he was very kind to us. Thanks Dan and Jean!!!
We had the pleasure of staying with jeanandaniel. They were absolutely lovely, accomodating and flexible. A little bit of a wiggle with the trailer getting into place, but we all fit in the driveway fine. What a great little spot you have in the world! It was great to meet you both Savannah, Tom and Knox
We had an unforgettable time on your place, very very pleasant, thanks to you we have an good impression of Seattle and we will thank you for all what you have done with us and did for us. You both are the most nice hosts. Mia & Clemens
We stayed here and had a very warm welcome. Nice quiet comfortable neighborhood with easy in and out access for our RV. Close to a beautiful town which we walked to (about 2 miles?) close to a beautiful short 30 min ferry ride from the town.
