Our family launched an adventure in June of 2011, where we left most of our worldly possessions to head west in our motorhome to live, work and study for a year. We followed Lewis and Clark, drove the 101 down the west coast and slept in the deserts. At the end of that year, we wanted to see the east coast, so we rented the house out again and away we went. We have now settled into a stationary life during the school year and travel as much as we can during the breaks. We work remotely, so we are able to leave our home for extended periods. We are grateful for the lessons we have learned and generous people we have met along the road.

We are celebrating this original trip with a 10 year anniversary RV vacation.

A quick overnight rest stop.

Great communication. Knew when to expect them to arrive and when they planned to depart. Only had a brief time to chat and would have enjoyed more time to continue our conversation but as we were already aware they were on a fairly tight schedule and only stopping in for a quick overnight stay. Would gladly host them again.

FRIENDLY AND WARM COUPLE

It was our pleasure to host J and A and their three children. They arrived after a grueling 600 mile drive that included a rough cross wind drive across eastern Colo. and western KS. We got to visit a few minutes after arrival, then understandably supper duties called then early to bed because a 500 mile drive was coming early the next morning. Although, our visit time was short we were impressed by their warmth and friendliness. Unfortunately, we did not get to meet the children but no doubt they are a good reflection on mom and dad. We will be glad to host them again should their travels and timing bring them our way in the future.
