last year we rented our home in Grand Rapids, MI for a year long adventure to see how many national parks we could see. And along the way to find the weird, the interesting, and the unusual. After being home for 10 weeks we left for another round of travel. His time from October 2016 to May 2017. We have been married for 4,years and I have been retired for a while. I am a former high school counselor and I met my wife while volunteering at our local food bank where she was a coordinator. We enjoy people and books, biking, and of course travel. Our other hobbie is sailing and keep a boat on Lake Michigan. Our names are Stacie and Barry Nobles
We are good with computers: accomplished sailors: conversationalists. And great listeners. We enjoy sharing books and experiences
We have one aged cat. She is always on a leash but doesn't move that much anymore. Sort of like us...π
We love the woods and water. we hope to visit every state but we are not rushing ourselves. We want to enjoy the experience: its all about living the moment.
We live just north of Grand Rapids in a small town, Comstock Park. We have a condo there surrounded by woods and a stream. Yet we are close to all the things one needs in life. Because we are renting the unit we don't feel we could share it with boondockers . This time.
We are traveling in a 19' Roadtrek that has all the conveniences but fits in a normal parking spot. Its really an extended van and takes very little space. We are self contained but electricity and sometimes water is most appreciated.
"Nice people" would be an understatement. Thinking and interesting conversationalists. Fun and considerate. We wish they were neighbors.
These people were great to have visit our farm--even helped with some ranch chores. Would have them stay anytime. afshore.
Although they only stayed with us one night, we had a great talk that evening and really wish their stay could have been longer. Quiet and respectful guests and great conversationalists.
I hope you two continue to have a great journey - come back and see us anytime!
I sincerely hope to have journey2 as guests again. They are fun, helpful and just great to,have around
Happy New Year
We enjoyed Their visit....They were our 15thβ boondocker and the first for this season. All of our visitors have been interesting and fun, especially them....It was a pleasure and we hope to see Barry and Stacie again.
These guys are awesome boondocker guests. Even though they stayed in our area during 11 days of rain they were still upbeat, fun, interesting and full of life! Herman & I welcome them back anytime. I hope their Roadtrek adventures continue for decades to come!

These folks stayed for three nights. Glad they were able to enjoy Fall in VT.
Wonderful guests! We highly recommend them.
We had a very nice visit with these folks and appreciated them giving us another chance when their first attempt to stay didn't work out so well. (we weren't here...) We would recommend them to one and all, very friendly and sociable!
