I'm a self employed photographer and have a photography studio in Merced. Married with a beautiful wife and daughter I love to travel around the Southwestern USA in my newly acquired Four Wheel popup truck camper. I look forward to meeting others who also have a love of travel and meeting people.
I've a photography studio in Merced and love to share my knowledge of the this art.
Yes we have two Labrador Retrievers but do not travel with them as popup truck campers have very limited room.
American Southwest and the Sierra Nevada of California.
Located in California's agricultural breadbasket (Central Valley) Merced, CA is 1.5 hours outside Yosemite National Park. Over 220 different crops are raised in the Central Valley which runs 450 miles from Redding to Bakersfield and is about 50 miles wide. What I love is I can drive 10 minutes outside of the City of Merced and see the horizon from the Sierra Nevada to the east and the Coast Range to the west.

Easy having guests like Roger, quiet, relaxed and more like a comfortable old friend. Definitely be welcome back.
Roger and his daughter were here for a 10 K race she had entered. They checked in early giving us a chance to meet. Quiet and enjoyable guests. Will be happy to welcome them back.
We parked in front of their beautiful home and had a great time meeting these folks. We recommend 👌 😀
I really enjoyed meeting Ramblin Roger and family, and would happily return and chat more about truck campers and general wandering out west. Definitely a warm welcome, and easy communication leading up to the stay. Give them shout if you're in the area, Merced was a perfect stopover between Sequoia NP and Yosemite.
Parked on the street in a cozy, quiet neighborhood, level enough without blocks for my use in a truck camper.
Thanks for the hospitality!
