In 2000, our family went on a "Vacation Adventure" with our two sons. We traveled for 99 days, 19,250 miles, all the way to the West Coast, up to Canada, and back to Texas. Since that time we raised our kids (both service-members) and have dreamed of the day we could return to America's roads. I have an online teaching business, Rodger is my chauffeur, and Scout (dog <20lbs) is our entertainment. Our vision is to experience small town America and see how others live.
Rodger is like MacGyver; he can do anything with a pocket tool and some duct tape. I can make the best gumbo you've ever tasted.
Scout is a Jack Russel mix under 20 lbs. She rarely barks, but she glitters everywhere.
Just starting out. The only boondocking we have done is at a Kmart parking lot in Barstow in 2000 (don't recommend). Last fall we stayed at Forest Road 225 in Utah. It was wonderful, but I was so scared of bears, that I didn't sleep a wink. That was before we got our Casita. I don't think a bear can get into a Casita.

Simbrown1987 were fantastic guests, it was a pleasure having them stay. They are quiet and respectful and hope they had a good time visiting family here. They are welcome to come back and stay anytime. Wishing them safe travels ahead.
Simbrown1987 are just the kind of boondockers you hope to have as guests. Instantly friends and we hope to have them back soon.
Simbrown were a joy to host and the taco dinner they fixed was delicious! We had fun looking at all the birds and I got to introduce them to my curved bill thresher who sang his heart out for them. Just as they were leaving noticed that my song bird appeared to have a mate! Hoping for little thresher's in a while. Simbrown are welcome back anytime and if someday my travels takes me to their neck of woods I can visit them. Thanks for a very enjoyable visit!
