We are recently retired, love nature, sailing, and travelling, and previously owned a campervan in New Zealand.
We can share re travel and nature, gardening, bird-watching and sailing, and have a wide variety of other interests.
Lots of experience "living small" in trailerable sailboats and camper vans.
Looking to add Canadian and US Boondocking locations to our Favourites list.
Aurora has several nature parks including a 100 acre Arboretum and a maple tree Sugar Bush, all connected by a network of walking/cycling trails. Downtown Toronto is an hour away by bus, train, or road. There is a seasonal Farmers Market, an active Cultural Centre, golf courses, and heritage homes.

Unfortunately we received Canz in the rain. They stayed the time of a night. I appreciated Canz's effort to speak in French during our exchanges by e-mail and in person. We may have other opportunities to chat in the future.
I recommend Canz as a visitor.
They stayed with us overnight heading to NFL. enjoyed the time spent chatting. Welcome anytime
Thank you very much for your hospitality.
It was very nice and interesting meeting you two. Loved your camper, you have a lovely yard and flowers.
Keep up the sailing, camping and most of all, the French!
Thank you for your generosity. We enjoyed seeing your adventure pictures and can’t wait to get our own! Have a great summer and thanks again for letting us stay at your lovely “park” house.
We had an awesome stay with wonderful hosts who gave us useful tips. Very friendly and helpful! We enjoyed it a lot!
We had a very goed stay here. Our host was helpful to give advice to use the heating of our camper and have us useful tips for the next day. Very friendly and helpful address! We loved our stay.
Our hosts were very kind and adaptable. Thank you. They made sure of when we were arriving so that they could perform some vehicle shuffling to allow us a nice spot on their driveway. And even stored our bikes in their garage to keep them out of the rain.
As we were having our dinner in our Class C, they invited us to join them for coffee and a chat. And as we were leaving we gave them a tour of our unit, which of course resulted in having a tour of their unit. Many ideas to share.
The suburban location was extremely quiet. We didn't see any cars at all, and only heard some in the far distance. Lovely property.
We had a very positive experience on our first week boondocking. We will be looking to try this again when we can.
This was our first experience using the site and staying with another member. Our cats were very grateful for CANZ' generosity for allowing us to park our Class B in their driveway and run the a/c at the peak of a random heat wave late September. As we are just starting out with FT travel ourselves, we also appreciated all the little nuggets of wisdom CANZ shared with us during our stay. The property was beautiful with gardens, water feature and lovely patio to enjoy a morning coffee and chat. We'll be sure to reach out when we're back in the area to reconnect. Thank you!
I was very pleasantly welcomed by this lovely couple even though my request was very last minute. They made sure I had everything I could possibly need to hook up, settle in, be comfortable. I was even greeted with some (welcome home) magazines and newspapers (I had just returned from the US) from Canada just to catch up. I had a conference the next morning and they made sure I had privacy, and a clear connection - coffee in hand ! The location is very lovely, peaceful, in a residential area with huge lots and large trees so you feel like you are in a rural setting. The parking area was flat. I would go back !
