Bob and Heidi Horger along with our daughter Savannah (17 years old who has ASD) will be traveling the United States in our trailer with our lazy cat. Bob works remotely for a biotech manufacturing company as a project manager and Heidi and Savannah work hard keeping him out of trouble. Savannah loves animals, Barbies, dragons, and is creative with a great imagination. We have 2 adult children who are living on their own working hard and navigating life. Bob is originally from New Jersey and Heidi is from Oregon. We met in Utah while attending college. Both are alumni from BYU. We have lived in Utah, Illinois and North Carolina.
Bob was an apprentice plumber during college and continues to use this skills to help people out.
Bob is a firefighter both Wildland and structural and Heidi is a certified EMT and we volunteer for our town’s department.
We have 4 cats but only one travels with us...the other 3 prefer to stay home and do nothing.
The cat only leaves the trailer if on a lease. He isn’t that adventurous!!!
We don’t have a lot of experience boondocking but so far our favorite is in the Franklin basin within Logan Canyon. It is about 10 miles east of Logan, Utah.
Our home base is Paradise, Utah. A very small town in Northern Utah.
