We are retired casino dealers, who decided to sell the house and become homeless, and take up fulltime Rving in Canada and the USA.
We are quiet, one of us smokes, and we usually keep to ourselves and do our own thing. A drink or three is great around the campfire once in a while.
Our RV adventure started on April 7th 2021. The next day on April 8th 2021 Ontario went under lockdown until June 11, 2021. We were unable to cross the Quebec or Manitoba Border as well as the USA Border. So we ended up staying at many Boondockers Welcome locations until we finally found a campground to stay at for almost a whole month while we figured out what was happening with the lockdowns.
This winter we are hoping that the US Border opens up for Canadians so we can go to Texas, and then either Florida or Arizona.
Our long term goal is to retire in Ecuador.
I have 25 years experience dealing casino games, and my wife rhonda has about 10 years experience as a casino dealer. We have dealt all various games and have seen everything!!!
We have 9 years experience as landlords managing 10 units.
We have 6 years experience as Foster Parents, and have fostered over 50 children in that timeframe from 2 weeks old up to 17 years old. We still keep in touch with our foster daughter and adopted boy who lives on his own now.
I consider myself tech/computer savvy and know how to fix pretty much everything home related: plumbing, electrical, drywall, locks, painting, etc, mostly learnt from being a landlord.
Mia is a red siberian husky who celebrated her 15th birthday on March 3rd 2021.
She weighs about 75 lbs, is very quiet and barks maybe once per month, and sleeps most of the day. She still gets excited about her 1/2 hour walk everyday, and gets along with other dogs. She doesn't play much anymore, but enjoys biscuits and treats and being spoiled.
* Many Boondockers Welcome host locations.
* Our favorite Provincial Parks: Algonquin, Killbear, Pinery and Bon Echo.
We used to tent camp in those locations years ago for 8 to 9 nights at a time.
* Our favorite Private Parks: Green Acres in Waterloo and Lagoon Tent and Trailer Huntsville.
We are both born in St. Catharines Ontario Canada an our current home is a 2021 Keystone Travel Trailer BH 240. The box is only 24.6 feet long!!! LOL

We have one small slide out, a self contained kitchen, bath and shower, and a 19 foot awning. Our Truck is a blue 2013 F150 that is about 19 feet long. All the best to you both
Enjoyed meeting Justin and Rhonda.
Hope there adventurers go well.
Always welcomed back
This couple are repeat visitors to the outback pond. Very nice couple that seem to love the animals. Sounds like they are planning to return next year and they are welcome to come again, even if I'm not home. They now know the property and their favorite parking spot, so I feel very comfortable with Justin_and_Rhonda staying on the property unsupervised. Whishing you a safe and happy journey on the rest of your season.
Bob, Ron & Nancey
I did not hear Husky complain at any time. Hardly knew anyone was here.
Very easy people to have around. We enjoyed a nice campfire and they did some exploring around the area, including a paddle on the river. And they have a wonderful, very quiet and laidback dog who got on fine with our pup.
They're certainly welcome back anytime
It was a pleasure to have you as our guest and wish you all the best on your travels.
Stay save and we hope you are going to enjoy the traveling live.
It was so interesting to meet Justin and Rhonda and hear about how they are living their dreams. They were the perfect guests - quiet, thoughtful and respectful. Their dog is a sweet thing - affectionate and calm.
We enjoyed our visit with Rhonda & Justin and their sweet dog Mia. We shared a Canada Day BBQ and enjoyed their casino stories. They were quiet and respectful guests
Welcome back anytime. Safe travels.
Respectful RVer. Great attitude both of them. We enjoyed meeting them and had great conversations. The last two days of their stay we have another Boondockers guess came and they got along well with them. We would gladly welcome them back here.
Hardly knew they were here, and they were very patient as I was in and out of the yard about 7000 times during their stay!
Great people, they stayed a week and enjoyed the property. With COVID didn’t get to know them as well as in the days before COVID. They are welcome back.
Thanks again for the kind words. We enjoyed your visit and you are welcome here any time in the future. John/Betty
It was a pleasure to help out these folks who are trying to live the dream amidst the ever changing availability of camp sites due to COVID. Their 'senior' dog was no trouble at all and our guests were sure to keep her on her leash - though that was not required given our situation.
As we mention in our profile - this is what we would like to be doing, so it was great to be able to share our dreams and plans over a couple of drinks.
We hope to see these guests again and catch up down the road!
Wish Justin and Rhonda all the best as they start their journey's this year with its extra challenges and restrictions
We had an early start to the Boondockers season. Too cold and rainy to have a campfire so we visited in the garage. Learning a little about their travels and plans if Covid restrictions allow. Always interesting to spend some time and get to know some new people.
Very friendly couple, we hope your coming back again. We had a few nice conversations with each other!
All the best to you in this journey !
The cat was found , thank you for the help !!
We met Justin & Rhonda, and their friendly, gentle dog Mia during our boondocking.
Very friendly couple.
It was nice to share each other's boondocking journeys.
They have also taught us many helpful tips and showed us good items to use.
It was a pleasure seeing you guys. Good luck for the next adventure :)
