Hello! I am a Registered Nurse that enjoys all seasons of nature. I enjoy backcountry camping, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, snow shoeing, and cross country skiing. My husband and I recently started RVing in a tiny Scamp trailor. We both enjoy the solitude of nature, a dark sky, and a camp fire (if a pit is available) and swimming (if available). We don’t need any amenities as we are self sufficient. We are kind and sensitive to disturbing the environment.
If I have my first aid kit and supplies usually, and if there is an emergency, I like to help people (because I’m a nurse). I know how to travel in the backcountry. I love big dogs and I’m good with them. I’m ok at making a fire. I’m good at making people feel appreciated because I care about people. I also care about all animals and the planet. I’m a “leave no trace” camper and I could teach this principle.
We/I have no pets.
We are new to Boondocking. So far, we just look for dead end country roads that are public property that display no “no overnight parking” signs. Or we look for crown land.
