World travelers and now with our first RV added to our lifestyle. We are very excited and ready to hit the road. My wife Lucy and I have enjoyed our world adventure travels and now will expand traveling into the RV world. In our younger days we were both avid tent campers. Our USA travels have already taken us to nearly all 50 states, plus some US territories. Our world travels have taken us to places like China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, many island groups in the South Pacific, Europe, and most recently Canada from Montreal to Kelowna on the Trans Canada Highway. With our new RV we will will spend as many days on the road visiting friends and family as possible. Our children and grandchildren live thousands of miles from us so we are hopeful to see them more often. We also love boating and living on the water in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. I'm a retired commercial and residential lender from a national bank. I was a Boy Scout as a youth and was very active. I'm also a Vietnam and Cold War Veteran serving in the Navy aboard a nuclear fast attack submarine and boomer. My wife is a retired Realtor. She loves adventure traveling, cooking, and our grandchildren. For my wife traveling will become extra special and meaningful as she has a mobility handicap. Traveling by RV should make life easier for her. However, I really think my wife is going to enjoy traveling because two of our daughters will soon deliver three children making our grandchildren family a total of five. Our primary road trips will take us up the east coast and then across the USA into Montana and then the middle or southern route home.

Skills & Expertise to Share

I have just enough skills to get myself in trouble. My wife is a great cook. I do have limited computer skills, serious semi professional photography skills, my wife has wonderful writing skills and keeps a daily journal of our travels. Thanks to some serious skills learned qualifying in the submarine service I can trace various electrical and plumbing systems and locate problems. That's not saying I can repair those problems, but can usually identify what the problem is. My wife has taken up knitting and would love to share with other knitters.

Our first land based rig is a 2015 Coachmen Prism 24 G, Mercedes turbo diesel. This unit has two slides; one for the rear Queen bed and the other to expand the living area where the sofa is located on the drivers side.
