Justina’s health is no longer the best but she enjoys life, cooking in a Whole30 way and walking with our Basenji. And reading.
Luci is younger. She is an artist (mosaicist) working with recycled materials. She is PASSIONATE about recycling.
We’ve been married for 33 years
We both have computer skills we are happy to share.
We have a friendly Basenji female named Piper. Basenjis do not bark or shed. Basically, she hangs out in any patch of sun she can find.
If she had opposable thumbs, she would be a builder or mechanic—she loves to watch ( and help) anyone who’s working with tools.
BLM land in Quartzite, AZ, wide spot by the road on Old Route 66 near Peach Springs, AZ; overflow parking at Salt Point State Park near Mendocino, CA; overflow parking at New Brighton State Park near Santa Cruz, CA. We often find beautiful wide spots by the side of back roads. We also like National Forest land.
Most recently, we returned to Washington State from 10 years near Vancouver BC where we moved to have health insurance when my wife was denied a $10,000 deductible major medical policy. We were able to repatriate when the Affordable Care Act became active. Before that we have lived in San Diego, CA, Berkeley, CA, Taos, NM, Apache Junction, AZ, and Fresno, CA. One of us grew up in upstate New York in a town with one traffic light and went to school in Salem, WV. The other grew up on the Susquehanna River in Pennsylvania and went to school in Annapolis, MD. We were full timers for 5 years in the 90s, and just started full timing again. Update: we’ve been full timing since 2014 and have settled in to the life. Mostly we stay at a campground near Sequim, WA or a campground at the beach near Ocean City, WA.
