My wife, Anke, and I have just transferred from a Class-C RV (30+ft) to a Class-B and are looking forward to experience the boondocking scene.
Have been RV-ing since 2001.
Thor Tellaro 20KT built on RAM Promaster 3500. Fresh, grey and black water tanks. Lithium batteries and no generator. No need for shore power.
Wonderful couple we were fortunate to meet as a result of this program. We had a nice visit and thouroughly enjoyed their company. Hope they bless us with another visit.
We had a delightful introduction and otherwise they did their own thing, coming and going quietly.
It was good of you to mention the adjacent Virginia Blue Ridge Railway Trail. Yes it is available for biking. It is also available to foot traffic and equestrian traffic as well. Since the start of the year of the virus, it has seen a lot of use. Do come back and give it a try. You might also take a look at our other Boondockers Welcome listing, Pequaw Honk. Per haps not as convenient to the highway but way more scenic. All the best to you and yours,
