We just bought a huge tiny house in Southern Wisconsin.Since we don't know the area, we'll be exploring a bit closer to home for now. We are finally free of most responsibilities and we are enjoying the freedom of traveling.[Update August 2016: added responsibilties of home owning back in and will be traveling to Home Depot quite a bit in the near future]. We have a 2001 Nissan Frontier for a tow vehicle and a 2005 2720 TrailManor hard sided pop-up trailer. We are looking forward to exploring this beautiful country and making new friends along the way.[Update August 2016: hope new friends will come our way...]
Good cooks and novice kayakers.
We enjoy camping and hiking in the Monongahela National Forest in the Allegheny Mountains of eastern West Virginia.
Twin Lakes WI
Year 2005, 2720 TrailManor hard sided pop-up. It folds down to 20 foot for towing and expands to 27 foot for camping.
We hardly knew they were there and enjoyed visiting with them. They are welcome anytime.
All of the Boondockers that we have had were really neat people, Marty and Magdalena are no exception....They are a down to earth fun loving couple....They seemed to enjoy venturing around our neck of the woods and sharing their travel adventures with us ....We had so much in common....
Ramblers 13 stayed with us for 2 nights and we had a great time. Sincerely hope they get back this way again so we can here about where they have ventured. Couldn't have asked for nicer boondockers!
RAMBLERS WERE OUR VERY FIRST BOONDOCKING GUESTS AND THEY COULDN'T HAVE BEEN NICER. THEY WERE HERE FOR 4 DAYS AND MOVED ON TO A CAMPGROUND IN THE AREA. VERY INTERESTING FOLKS AND WE REALLY ENJOYED GETTING TO KNOW THEM. "THANKS SO MUCH FOR INVITING US TO DINNER WHILE YOU WERE HERE. ANYTIME YOU ARE IN THE AREA PLEASE STOP AND SEE US AGAIN." ED AND RUTH
We didn't even know the Ramblers13 were camping on at our place for a couple of days. They were quiet, very considerate and appreciative. We hope their stay was acceptable and hope to see them again if they are ever back in this area.
We enjoyed having Ramblers13 as guests for a couple of nights. They are friendly, quiet and appreciative. What more could one ask of anyone. Hope they come back some day and go kayaking with us.
We were met as soon as we arrived and got info as to where to park. It was nice to have power. Would not hesitate to stay again if in the area. We only spent the night and left early in the am.
We unfortunately cancelled our stay due to our own planning, but they were extremely helpful and friendly in the communication we had. Based on this I would highly recommend contacting them and staying with them! Thank you for the advise!
