We love to camp. Some of our favorite spots are up in the mountains of the Olympics in Washington. The quieter spot the better. We love to sit by the fire and relax and enjoy family and friends. We play dominoes, cribbage and other games. We can cook inside the 5th wheel, or set up our camp kitchen outside, that is what we prefer. We also love to explore different areas and find new spots to camp.
We are farmers. We run our 6 acre farm by ourselves and with help from family if need be. I love to garden. So I grow a lot of vegetables, sometimes too many. When we have more than we need, we like to share.
We have 3 horses, a barn cat and a very large dog. The horses have 4 pastures, north, middle south and creek pasture. There are lots of "green apples" everywhere.
When we travel we take our dog along. His name is Barron.
So far no official "Boondocking sites" but we love going out in the woods up in the Olympics by the Wynoochee Dam and finding spots out of the way from the campground. The Coho is a wonderful campground with great hosts, but we prefer to be further away from that.
We live about 8 miles from Montesano, WA. It is the County Seat of Grays Harbor County. It is a nice town with a hardware store, grocery store, auto parts, several auto garages, and lots of different places to eat. About 20 miles away is Aberdeen. If you need different types of stores. We find we can get just about anything we need from Montesano tho.
We tow with a 3/4 ton Dark Blue Chevy Silverado Pickup Truck. Our camper is Everlite by EverGreen, we call her Eleanore. There is one slide out. There are 2 adults, Charli and Dani, mother and daughter. One black dog named Barron.
This is such a cute little ranch. We were parked by the horses, had 15 amp, and a beautiful view of what looks like the finest national Park. They set up a little picnic table and a cute little mailbox with a guest book and some wonderful flyers for information about the area. I found one on farmers markets a directory in Washington state, that I’mGoing to treasure. The hosts were super nice! If I come back through this area I hope I can get back in!
Welcoming hosts! Gracious and informative about the surrounding local area. Our pooch loved romping in the lower pasture. Quiet and serene night of sleep.. would definitely stay here again when passing thru this way😍
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hosted site. Our hosts made us feel at home and were very pleasant to visit with. We immediately felt like family. There were many things to go and see from this location with our towed vehicle including the ocean, a lighthouse, plenty of fresh seafood restaurants and little quaint shops. Thank you for letting us stay with you. We will back when we are in this area again.
I love the place, quite place, huge ranch, close to Olympics and Dani was super cool with me leaving the trailer to visit olympic national park. Great recommendations and lot of brochures in the mail box. I would love to visit back again :)
Great spot with power/water (1) or wide fields if not needed! We had an awesome day at Westport Winery nearby and will definitely stay here again next year. Quiet, peaceful and a great spot. Couple of notes—drive until you hit the gravel road. Verizon 1 bar if lucky, no ATT. Large contained field down the hill for the pups, owners dog friendly but leash required in camping area as horses are pastured right there. Hosts are very friendly and welcoming.
Open land with multiple guest. But still felt like had enough space. (Not crowed) Got to meet the other families staying there which was fun. No cell service. Close to Olympic National Park
A wonderful place to stay. The hosts are very nice down to earth people. The lower pasture that they allow your dogs to run off leash is a short walk down the hill and is an absolutely beautiful place that looks like some private park. It is right next to a creek but is separated from the grassy area by bushes which we really liked because our Lab didn't even know there was a creek there. We didn't really want a muddy wet dog to deal with in our bus😉.
We hope to stay here again sometime in the future and to visit again with our new friends.
This was such a relaxing place to camp. Our daughter loves horses, so a lot of her time was spent sitting by the fence to watch them. There were also plenty of trees for shade and our hammock. We walked down to the big "creek pasture" to play fetch with our dog off leash and play tag! There was so much room and it was also shaded by old trees! We had a really nice time here!
It was great talking with them and had a nice stay. We would love to come back sometime.
Our hosts were ready to help us the minute we approached the entry onto the property. It wasn't needed but it was nice to see a welcoming face. The host knows the area very well and made wonderful suggestions for points of interest, some not to be found in any guide literature. The evenings were quiet and the mornings were full of calls of wild turkeys. We had a wonderful time. If our travel plans permit, we would be back in a joyful heartbeat!
Thank you so much.
This is a beautiful place to stop if you’re in the area. I couldn’t believe how quiet it was there and relaxing. Our host was super helpful and very nice! We even had a deer wander up about 30 feet from our rv. So neat!
A welcoming host and a quiet spot, what more could one want ... they also had informational packets for the local area, which was nice. Visible mobile service didn't get good reception, which made it even quieter. I enjoyed it.
We had an amazing experience. It's perfectly quiet and it allowed us to enjoy all of Olympic and the beach and get some rest before starting our journey down the coast. The host was very welcoming and was exactly as promised on boondockers welcome would definitely recommend to anyone! We have a 26-ft pull behind camper and we're still able to get turned around and sit in a comfortable position and enjoy the shade and peace and quiet.
My wife and I had an amazing stay with DanilueLoo. The location we parked for the night was peaceful and quiet. I was even able to listen to a baseball game on my MLB app. ⚾️😀
I have an amazing stay. The property was beautiful. I had the pleasure of meeting both the hosts, lovely people. I would defiantly stay here again.
We very much enjoyed meeting our hosts and staying at their farm. The area set aside for visitors is very welcoming. The hosts went above and beyond to make us comfortable. They are kind and generous. If we are ever in this area again we will for sure stay here .
The farm is amazing ,with trees, horses and birds ... just lovely!
We gave them a gift for welcoming us, they shared some herbs from the hort we really enjoy our stay, such a lovely time!
Thank you a lot!
Our host was very welcoming and the area we parked in was beautiful. Unfortunately the extreme heat did not allow us to enjoy this tranquil location as much as we would have loved to. The night was very quiet and we enjoyed the song birds in the morning with our coffee. Highly recommend this boondocker host.
What a great place to stay and unwind between the coast and Seattle! These are wonderful hosts and have the most beautiful grassy pasture to park in. Then you look out your window and watch the horses. You can park under trees or in the sun, there’s a fire pit and water too. Downtown is just 8mi and has everything you might need. ~ Jim
