We are an active couple that like to get out with our RV for longer trips. We are not much into being weekend warriors so we save our trips for when we can go longer. We love to get out and walk, ride our RAD e-bikes and geocache when ever we can. We have a home based business and are very active volunteering with our local Rotary club
We can help with some fun things to do while visiting Port Townsend
We don't have pets, but we say we have OPPs, "other people's pets". We love dogs but choose not to have one ourselves, for years we traveled a lot for work and it just wasn't a good life to have any pets. We welcome your well behaved pets to our home.
We live in the North Beach area of Pt Townsend, a Historical Victorian Seaport located on the Olympic Peninsula. We have many events going on year around here and Pt. Townsend is definitely a vacation destination for many people. It has a very quiant downtown area that has lots of fun shops to explore. Our home is only blocks from the beach on the Straight of Juan de Fuca, and a few blocks from the western edge of Fort Worden. We are close to the fairgrounds where there is a pay dump station with easy access. If you are planning to travel to Whidbey Island by ferry, it is advised you make reservations as they fill up fast. We are only a 10 minute drive to the ferry. To make reservations check out WSDOT and look for options for ferry reservations.
Nice little spot with a short walk down to the beach. Very quiet area, excellent hosts!
This was my first time using this site. Host was very responsive and communicative. Friendly welcome upon arrival and good and friendly chat with helpful recommendations for area. Would stay here again. Very convenient for catching the ferry in the morning.
Thank you so very much Charlie and Jayne for the warm welcome and hospitality. The location to the beach was amazing!
The hosts made us feel really welcome at their beautiful property. The grounds of the home are meticulously cared for. Took some nice walks around the neighborhood which was really peaceful. Would highly recommend staying at this beautiful place with these really nice people
Great spot from which to explore Port Townsend or catch the ferry. Would stay again.
The hosts were more than accommodating when we ended up arriving mush later than expected. We got to town late and wanted to grab dinner so we communicated with the hosts and they were more than flexible.
When we arrrived there was the cutest welcome sign, welcoming both my wife and I. We were greeted when we pulled in and asked if we needed anything.
Very gracious hosts, we just wish we could have spent a bit chatting before crawling into bed.
Very hospitable hosts who communicated well and provided a quiet spot for a good nights rest before departing early in the morning for our next destination. And the welcome sign was so sweet!
We had a very nice stay. The site is very close to Puget Sound and Fort Warden. About a 20 minute bike ride to the downtown area, which has a lot of shopping, dining and sight seeing. Port Townsend does not have a lot of boondocking sites and the campgrounds are often booked up. Being able to use this driveway was great. Thank you!
