We love to travel light in our little glass camper, an Alto R1713 from Safari Condo, and make Youtube videos for fun on a channel called “A Life More Light”. We have a son that is married and has a son of his own, and a daughter that is engaged. Our son lives near our Wisconsin home and our daughter currently lives on the east coast. Some of our favorite times on the road have been meeting up with them during our travels. Being grandparents has been amazing! Our Alto is a very quiet setup powered by solar and we aim to leave anywhere we stay at least as nice as we found it. Despite being tiny, in the first two years of owning our Alto, we have spent more than 300 nights in it, with our longest stretch so far being 10 straight weeks of living in it (and we still weren’t ready to go home!). Joe’s work can be done on the road, which has allowed us a lot of flexibility to travel. We love living light, enjoying the outdoors, exploring new places, and meeting new people!
Joe works in industrial plastics manufacturing, he can be quite handy with mechanical and engineering related problem-solving. Music has been a part of both of our lives. Sherri played piano and sang in nursing homes and church for ten years, Joe (guitar) and Sherri and their son led all of the music/bands at church for seven years. We also had an Americana band with our son that played original music that Joe wrote, but it’s been a couple of years since we’ve played!
Erma, a Tricolor Treeing Walker Coonhound Rescue. She’s always done well with other dogs, but we handle with care regardless and always clean up behind her no matter where that is. She has an Instagram account: @ErmaTheDog
We love visiting Joe’s parents in Michigan’s, Upper Peninsula. Stunning BLM land outside of Goblin Valley State Park in Utah. A wild spot in Grand Escalante Staircase, Utah.

Was a pleasure meeting such a nice couple and their dog. Just a quick one night stay. Maybe an extra night sitting around a campfire next to the pond next time? Would love to host again if they travel through this area in the future. And that camper is sweeet!
Unfortunately I was not home during their stay but they left it like they found it. I started watching their YouTube channel it's pretty good. Hope they stop by again.
Genuinely thoughtful and kind people - a pleasure to meet and chat with although briefly. Their dog also a highlight with her welcoming and friendly demeanor. You will love meeting and hosting this conscientious couple anytime you can!
Thank you Boondockers Welcome for sending such amazing people our way. We enjoyed Sherrib123 so very much. They kept us posted on their arrival and were very quiet and respectful of our property. We sat for hours at the dock sharing stories about our children and adventures. It was fun to see them enjoying the property, riding the paddle boat, and stretching their legs. We recommend hosting this couple and their sweet pup if you have the opportunity, you will just love them.
Pleasant couple. Sweet dog. Loved having them spend the night. Welcome back anytime.
