We enjoy traveling, playing golf and fishing. We like our cocktails, a good cookout and fun with friends, old and new.
Jack of all trades, master of none.
We don't really have any favorite locations. Like to see new things.
Waverly is a tiny little town no one has ever heard of before. When people ask us where we live we usually say Brunswick, GA because more people have heard of it.
We have a 2012 Tiffin 36LA. We love traveling in it as it's very comfortable.
Were very accommodating to our late request so we could go to Jekyll island and the Sea Turtle Center. Did not get much time to converse but maybe next time!
Nice betting, excellent for overnight.
We were well greeted and bad à Nice and suite night....juste à couple of d'être part by...Nice To see
This was our first Boondockers Welcome experience, and it was tremendous! Leslie and Skipper were so nice to us. We even spent an evening with them around their campfire. We can’t thank them enough for their hospitality!
This was my very first boondockers stay.
They welcomed me and had a nice spot for me for a few days.
We had a visit and couple drinks and watched college football with a couple friends. Real fun time! Fun and intelligent and good senses of humor! Nice rural area and places to explore and walk around within a half hour.
Would visit again next time in the area dor sure. Thanks for making it a great first time!
We stayed at Leslie & Skipper's for two nights just before Christmas. Parking was easy. They had water if needed. We enjoyed sharing stories of our travels. They were close to Jekyll & St. Simon's islands. The Christmas lights on Jekyll Island were beautiful. We had a great dinner at the Wharf. St. Simon's Island had a lot of shopping, a great park by the light house and a good lunch a Brogan's. Thanks, Leslie & Skipper!

Southern hospitality that we will never forget. Great snacks, they invited us to their fire pit and let us hang out with their friends where we answered questions about our home in Canada and they commented on our accents which cracked us up. Seriously - we didn't want to leave in the morning - they are truly awesome people and it was so quiet at night for sleeping.
Arrived early evening for a one night stay. We were running late due to on-route bridge maintenance. The Leslieh's were gracious and understanding. There was time for a nice chat before a welcome sleep. The property is beautiful with lush greenery and Spanish moss draped trees. We were off early for our next stop in Florida but this will be a priority visit on future travels.
From the moment we arrived till the sad moment when we needed to continue our journey, it was like being home. Leslieh along with their wonderful friends immediately welcomed us into their home and lives. We now feel like we have family in Georgia and long to see them again either at their home or ours.
Kind, generous, interesting and so entertaining! If you are blessed to spend time at their home and experience their friendship, you will have incredible memories.
It still amazes us when wonderful people like this invite boondockers to their own home and property. True Southern hospitality and warmth! We hope everyone lucky enough to stay here treats them with the same love, respect, kindness and friendship they receive!
I was invited to join them at the campfire and have drinks with them. When it was raining heavily on the day I was to leave, I asked if I could stay another night and was told certainly. Very lovely quiet location.
We spent a few nights at Leslieh's place near Jekyll Island. They have lots of space, easy to get in and out of, and their proximity to Jekyll and St. Simons islands was just great. We had originally planned on 2 nights, but the islands had so much to see we ran out of time. Leslieh were so easy going it was no problem to tack on the third night. It was very much appreciated. We would definitely recommend them as hosts! Thanks again!
Leslieh were great. They let us park the night just before they were evacuating for hurricane Mathew. We left with them headed west the next morning. They graciously let us fill up our water tankard gave us great directions. Hope to meet again sometime on the road...
This was one of the best Boondocking experiences I have ever had! They were such great hosts and they really made us feel right at home. They invited us to sit around the fire, an amazing fire I might add, and we had a great time telling stories. We took a day trip to Driftwood beach, which is very close to this location, and it was beautiful! We will definitely contact Leslie and Skipper again if we are ever in the area and we hope to cross paths with them again someday!
My wife and visited with leslieh and get husband for a few days. They are such wonderful people, and are well traveled. We joined them for a few drinks around a fire pit on our second night.
We had only planned on visiting Jekyll Island for a day. They invited us to stay another night to explore the area more, we accepted. Frederica and saint Simmons island were beautiful. Georgia is the perfect temperature this time of year! We wouldn't hesitate to contact them again if we are in the area!
Spent two nights and enjoyed the company and the scenery. We were hosted to evenings by the campfire and a fish fry that won't be easily beat. Thank you Leslieh and Skip.
Since I'm a horse lover, these hosts with a Rodeo and barrel racing history had lots of great stories to tell. They immediately made me feel welcomed and treasured as a guest. I was invited to join them and their friends for cocktails later, but I was just too tired and slept about 10 hrs in peace and quiet. I regret not spending more time with my hosts, but maybe another time . . . .
