Exploring is my go to and life is to short to sit on the couch for to long.

Friendly, engaging father and son. Courteous and clean with an appreciation for our site.
We would really enjoy having them come back in the future!
This was my first time being hosted by Boondockers Welcome. It turns out it was also Jason's first time hosting. I think we were both trying to figure how to balance being respectful and allowing the other privacy, and not shutting ourselves inside and seeming cold. We figured it out in a very short time. I sat outside my van and Jason soon came out and asked if I'd like company. That was mid-afternoon. We chatted like we were long lost friends until after sunset.
The property is gorgeous. I parked under a weeping willow tree, with a view of a huge cornfield. It felt idyllic and private. Jason offered me to plug in, so I didn't need to use my solar power, and thus could stay in the shade, out of the blazing heat.
Jason, my host was just delightful. We took turns offering tours of our rigs, exchanged stories about our RV experience, and just generally had a most enjoyable evening. As he left for work in the morning, he saw me outside with my dog and brought me some fresh eggs from a neighbor's hens.
Beautiful spot. Beautiful host. Beautiful experience!
Made a last minute request and then had to cancel. Was quick to respond and was very understanding. Looking forward to staying on our next trip.
