I am an active senior citizen who lives to travel. I purchased a 32 foot Class C motor home two years ago and am enjoying traveling with friends and family. Since I am still working part time, I haven't ventured too far afield ( after all, Texas is a big state) but look forward to longer trips in the future.
Yes...2 outdoor cats, 2 dogs, 6 horses, 4 chickens and one parrot
Haven't got one yet. Have enjoyed the Rio Grande Valley, Big Bend, Davis Mountains
Bandera, Texas, in the beautiful Texas Hill Country just outside San Antonio
I drive a 32 foot Class C and often tow my car. It's a 2013 model with 2 slides
Our stay was brief and so peaceful. Our host & friend helped us settle in & hookup, then left us to ourselves. They did give us local info that was helpful. And on Sunday morning we went to Cowboy Church not far away and lo & behold, it was our host's friend's church, too! Would definitely visit again if in the area, very nice. 😊
Perfect in every way. Sharing her piece of beauty was topped with fresh eggs that were so delicious.
We spent one night on Jayne’s host location. Very friendly to leave boondockers stay at this beautigul location. We got in toch with her animals, esp. the chickens and had a quiet night. Thank you once again Jayne for your hospitality.
Wow, can't say enough good things about our stay! Our host met us as we drove up and by the way, easy to find. Very gracious. It was a wonderful 2 night stay. We had enough time to go explore and shop in town. We hope we are back in the area - we would definitely stay again! THANK YOU!
Nellibelle was wonderful and generous. It's a blessing to have met!
This place was great! They had horses, free-range chickens and a small play structure that kept our 2-year-old entertained for hours. The hosts were very communicative and friendly - we appreciate them and will definitely request to stay again when we come back through :)
Jane is a great host and helped us to set up near her drive with full hookups. She is very generous. From this location we drove into San Antonio and to Fredericksburg. But also took time to visit Bandera. Tip: Make sure you visit the Western Trail antique shop in Bandera. It has the horse on top of the building. My wife and I thought it had the best display of antiques. She bought boots and shirts, and would have bought more, but we're in the RV with limited space.
Watch for the deer that visit every evening.
My husband and I had the opportunity to stay for two nights. We are traveling across the US and found this host on the way to San Antonia to sightsee. After sending her an email it was only a few hours before she contacted me and she was available for us. When we pulled up to her home we were amazed how beautiful her home and property was. Our host immediately came to tell us where we could park and all the hook ups we could use. We were thrilled with our spot and had plenty of room for our 27 ft trailer with 3 slides. She had free range chickens ( which we named a few) and horses. The chickens came and pecked all around us but never came onto our rug. They were so fun to watch and our host said we could gather the eggs and have them. We were excited to check the pen out and got six eggs and boy were they good. So fresh! She even told us we could swim in her pool. My husband took a quick dip. I would recommend her over and over. We can not thank her enough for her hospitality. We gave her a bottle of wine that we had purchased at one of our Harvest Host Winery stays. We give this host an A++.
Only had the pleasure of staying one night with Nellibelle, but enjoyed her wonderful slice of paradise and her company. Had a great time discussing travel with her. It was fun to watch her feed her horses and chickens. And when the neighbor's llama found her way into her yard, got to llama wrangle. <emoji>
We had an amazing stay here during our time in Bandera. Thank you so much!
Spent a wonderful election evening and very quiet night boon docking on Nellibelle's awesome ranch. Such a delightful hostess and then enjoyed a communal breakfast with Bandera rvers in town - Cowboy Capital of the World! Meeting such sharing folks as Nellibelle contributed to my second positive experience on this boon docking connection.
Nellibelle accomodated us last minute and her warm welcome was much appreciated. The town of Bandera looked very interesting and it would've been great to be able to stay a little longer, but we had to get back on the road! Hopefully we will run into Nellibelle on our travels again. Thank you!
Warm welcome. Friendly person. Nice place.
We met a new good friend. We wish to see her at our home in Québec City, Canada.
Thanks very much to Nellibelle. We highly recommand you.
My partner and I headed to Bandera to get out of the cities and see some proper Texan countryside, and it was the best thing we’ve done!
We were only with Jayne for one night, but we got to explore her stunning property, play with the dogs and feed the horses! She recommended we go to a burger joint in Bandera called Chickin Coop (so good) and checked out 11th Street bar; Bandera town was incredible!
Jayne was so lovely to us, and we thank her very much for having us!
