Hi..I`m a 69 year young snowbird who has been winter travelling since I was 53..the South-western United States is my destination of choice for the winter months..can`t beat the weather, bright sunshine and warm every day at Slab City where I`ve been camping for many years..I`m a walker, love to walk in the desert every morning and listen to music..keeps me in shape and sets up the day.
I`ve been an RV`r for 16 years so have plenty of experience with every type of rig..I`m also off grid at my cottage and in the desert in my motorhome,so lots of experience with solar power.
Slab City USA.
Otter Lake Quebec..along the beautiful Picanoc river..I leave my motorhome at Slab City in California and live during summer in my cottage at Otter Lake..plenty of room for RV`s along the river.
40ft. Monaco diesel..I leave it in Southern California for the summer.
Stayed at Malcolm's cozy cottage location on the river in Otter Lake, QC. Short drive off the beaten track was well worth the quiet night in this lovely off-grid retreat on our way to Mont Laurier. Thank you Malcolm for your friendly welcome and generosity to this pair of Boondocking newbies. Great first experience via Boondockers Welcome and we heartily recommend sereneRVtraveler to others.
