We welcome you to visit with any size rv. I work as a medical revenue cycle specialist and educator. Sometimes I am working (remotely) and other times I would love to visit. Other times I am away with my RV and a family member will be here to help you. We have a little (future) homestead which is really just a camp right now. We also love to travel and consider ourselves digital nomads. Would love to grill a meal with you or visit at the campfire if time and weather permit.
Jill of all trades and master of none.
We have a small dog who loves people and will want to meet you. If you would like our dogs to meet it is okay, but please be sure you can keep control of your dog. If it runs away it may become coyote food. Tootsie is a Chihuahua mix who absolutely loves to run and play out here. I make her stay on the pad because you can easily lose site of a small dog in the sagebrush. All pets and children must be supervised outside because of the coyotes in the area. We do see an occasional eagle or hawk as well. There are cows that come through sometimes and we occasionally have antelope visit.
Near national parks and those with a good mobile data signal to enable remote work.
We have a good view of the cell tower and signal from our place.

Appetoni wasn’t able to be there, but allowed us to stay anyways. Which was very much appreciated. It was a nice quiet spot outside of town. Beautiful view of the nearby mountains. Nice sunset. Too windy for a camp fire.
Great boondocking place. Quite and relaxing. Dogs loved to run.
Surrounded by sage bushes. Very quiet and peaceful and yet only 15 minutes back into town. Great stop over! Thank you for letting me stay.
appetoni is a wonderful host, I was a bit confused when I got to a certain point and appetoni came out to guide me the rest of the way; not that the instructions/ directions were bad, but I sometimes get “confused” when there are things that “pop up” that I’m not sure if I should go this way or that 🤪. She has an adorable baby, very similar to one of mine. I was thrilled I could leave my tea leaves in the compost pile !
I would definitely stay here again !
After a very long day of driving and fighting cross winds, it was a welcome sight to see where we'd be boondocking. Our host is incredibly gracious and the site is not unlike other similar sites we've stayed at in the high desert. Beautiful vistas and a warm welcome is hard to beat! We had a chance to take a nice walk and saw horned larks and a black tipped jackrabbit. Thank you so much appetoni for hosting us.
appetoni was so friendly. We also met her son Aaron. He was super friendly too. Her little dog was a joy. She jumped right up into my wife's lap as to say, "you are welcome here". We had a campfire in the evening. The lights of Winnemucca can be seen from the property. Very dark at night. There were clouds so we couldn't see the stars. We will be staying here again!! Thank you for a great time. It was easy to get my 33ft TT in and out.
Super quiet location, away from the city. Friendly, welcoming host was great on short notice.
