Do you know or have you hosted this user?

We quit work in the mid 1990's, got rid of most of our possessions and began the full timing lifestyle. We thought we'd give it a try for two years. Ten years later in 2006 we purchased a house in central Vermont to be closer to our two young grandchildren as Lori felt we would be the most influential on them at that age. We still travel at various times of the year and have been to all 50 states (did not take our rig to Hawaii, though), Mexico and many Canadian Provinces. The friendships we've made and the people we've met have been wonderful.

Skills & Expertise to Share

Lori is a great gardener and a gifted cook. Dave is a golfer and mechanically inclined and is adept at chair repairs including caning, rush and splint weaving.

Dave and Lori's Pets

Have recently inherited, from a cousin who died, a cute and well behaved shih tzu of about eight years old.

Dave and Lori's Hometown

Randolph is an active town in central Vermont. The Chandler Music Hall is renown for it's acoustics and has hosted many well known musical groups, comedy acts and stage plays. The Gifford Medical Center is in town and Montague Golf Course sits at it's edge.

Perfect

Dave and Lori could not have been more friendly and accommodating. They made us feel right at home during our brief stopover. Randolph is a lovely town and they have a gorgeous view from their hillside property. Thanks Dave and Lori!!

Terrific Host!!!

Dave was most welcoming and very accommodating!!
I had recently bruised my ribs, prior to our arrival and Dave let us extend our stay to give my body time to recover.
He gave us many recommendations of things to see and even introduced us to some local friends AND another couple of Boondocker’s Welcome people near where we were headed next!!

Highly recommend this stay... the view and gardens are lovely!!
Next time we will look forward to meeting his wife, who was not there during our stay!!

Great Place, Great Peoples

This was our first Boondockers site since joining the week before, and they were amazing. We were met as we arrived and they guided us into our level site. They both were very gracious Hosts, providing many details about etiquette, do's & don'ts with other Hosts. We would recommend them to everyone as a place to visit when you are passing nearby!!!

Awesome People, Beautiful Location!

As we arrived Dave was right there to help us get in and set up. Within minutes of meeting them it felt like we were trying to catch up with family or old friends! These people are so enjoyable to spend time with and have such a great sense of humor together or separately! They had no problem with us fielding them dozens of questions; they are such a great resource of what FULL TIME RVing is all about and Alaska! Easily observed they are such positive people who enjoy family, friends, and who make the most of their time and life! Hope to stay connected and catch them another time.

Good to meet up finally

Good to finally meet up with Dave and Lori after crossing paths for years. We had a great time remembering all the places we have been and the people we know in common. Also a wonderful place to stay for a couple of nights up in the hills of Vermont.

Great host and great view

When I arrived, Dave was there to guide me as I backed-into the spot, and wow, what a spot! Views of the mountains to the south plus Lori's beautiful flower garden! They even had an old-fashioned clothes line, and due to a faulty dryer in town, I had some damp clothes, so their clothes line was much appreciated. Very nice and very accommodating hosts, thank you Dave and Lori!

Outstanding Hosts

As I pulled up Dave came running out to help me park my rig in his driveway. As I started backing up, out the door came his wife Lori to also help me back it up.
After Dave helped me by supplying 30 amp and water he invited my wife and I out back to his deck where Lori had some hard boiled eggs along with some nachos and cheese waiting for us. To our surprise up the hill came their neighbor Chris to also welcome us. What a great time the 5 of us had chatting about this and that and staring down the valley at the town. What a beautiful view this was. Afterwards Dave and Lori invited us along with Chris to go with them to a local restaurant where we ate supper and then to top the evening off Dave took us for a ride through town showing us the local sites.
We were blessed with a great evening and great hosts.

Words can't describe how great these two are! Very welcoming and great spot to crash for the night. Went out of their way to make our stay great and hope to run into them again soon!
