I'm a single full-timer traveling with my two girls (dogs). I became a full-timer only last year, June 2014, so I'm near completing my first year and am loving it. I did have one unfortunate experience... my first motor home caught fire while I was driving it. Total loss. The girls and I got out OK. I'm now traveling with the replacement Class A.
This happened in Portland, Oregon while I was visiting family.
I'm currently in Katy, TX getting ready to head to Bryce Canyon City, UT. I was a workamper at Ruby's Inn General Store, last year, for 3 months. I going back to work for 5 months. After that, who knows.
I have three grown sons, all living in Portland, OR.
I'm a Electronics Technician and Service Business owner. I was an active member of the National Electronics Service Dealers Association (NESDA) and served on their National board as a Regional Director and Secretary. I was a member of Roseway Lions Club of Portland, OR from 1975 until 2002 when I moved to Texas.
I enjoy Bowling, Bicycling, Golf and walking my girls. I spend a lot of time researching my Genealogy via the Internet and now that I'm retired, traveling to the areas my ancestors lived for some hands-on research.
Electronics repair, computer knowledge. I just completed changing all the fluorescent lights, in my coach, to LED
I've only boondocked once at a BLM site in Quartzsite. So, don't have a fave yet
Portland, OR. I no longer own a home, other than my rolling one, so I cannot offer a site to others.
My first RV was over 20 years ago when I bought a early 80's model Winnebago 23'. I think we only used it 3 times for a period of several years. My (ex)wife was all for it when we purchased but then balked at actually using it. Fast forward to 2014, now single, I retired, sold my house, and in April purchased a '98 Dolphin 36'. That RV went up in smoke on Jan 25, 2015 while I was in Portland, OR. I replaced it with a '99 Winnebago Chieftain 34'. I've now put over 2000 miles on the replacement and am very happy with it.
