We are a retired couple with a small dog that reside in the state of Maryland just east of Washington, DC. Wife was in the medical field and husband worked with community development efforts in Brazil and Africa. Originally from Upstate New York (Syracuse Area) and North Central Wisconsin (farm). Boondockers is interesting to us as allows for a safe location for a night or two; but also possibly getting information on local places to visit. Our interests are local food, history and a bit of local flea-market type exploration. We would like to have an electrical hook-up for the night if possible (20-30 amp), but not totally necessary. Looking forward to meeting many new folks. We can probably be best described as a friendly, quieter couple that quickly settle in for the night. Some handy man skills...sometimes with innovative solutions.
Husband is rather handy (and somewhat innovative) with basic RV and other repairs...ask to see our sink faucet handle in the motorhome.
Presently have kept our travels to the Eastern Corridor of the US, preferably in warmer climes, but now plan to venture North and West as the roads and thoughts may take us.
Our rig us a 1997 Class A Itasca Suncruiser in very good shape. It's a 34 ft. with a 13 ft. slide out. A charcoal grill is always ready for use. We do not tow a vehicle.
