While I have a beautiful home in southern Colorado, it is quite remote so, I travel most of the time looking for photo and video projects. When I'm on the road the house is rented and unavailable for hosting.
I try to be as active as possible: running, biking, hiking, etc. I also love sea kayaking and SCUBA diving but, haven't been for a few years.
I am quite used to being alone but, love meeting new people. I've been a bicycle tour guide, personal trainer, Spinning instructor, technical recruiter, COBOL programmer, REI sales specialist, and more.
Here is a gallery of some of the Boondockers that have stayed with me - and others I've stayed with - http://us-photography.com/Travel/Boondockers
Skilled with cameras, computers, bicycles, and fairly handy with everything else.
I have no pets but, I promise to love yours.
I've spent many winters in Florida. Most of the time at my friends places but, also boondocking from Jackonville to Key West.
Hard to say what my hometown is. I was born in CA, grew up in SC, lived in Chicago for 17 years, and Colorado for 10.
2004 Airstream Interstate (Mercedes Sprinter chassis). 22ft + bicycles on the back.
US Photography stayed a couple of days with us. Very friendly fellow that has had some amazing adventures with great stories to tell! Quiet and peaceful and almost didn't know he was here. You will be enriched with him staying at your facility.
US Photography was a delightful guest to host. He has traveled a lot and it was really interesting listening to his boondocking experiences. He was quiet and clean. We are happy to have him return for another visit any time he may be passing through.
Interesting person to have a chat! Would be happy to host him again next time he is in the area!
It is always nice to connect with our boondocker even if they are around for a limited time!
Great guest. A pleasure to host. Quiet and respectful of property and neighborhood. Welcome back any time.
US PHOTOGRAPHY was a delight to host. He had some scheduling difficulties but we were happy to help. We would welcome a return visit when not so hot.
We enjoyed US Photography’s second visit even more than the first! He’s welcome back anytime and we are hoping to visit him at his place out west someday soon!
Had a great time hosting US Photography. He was very respectful, and quiet during his stay. He left the site immaculate with his departure. Had some wonderful conversations with him too. Hope to see him again in the future. Safe travels and explorations!
Very happy to meet and visit with this guest for a few minutes each day. Had a big project going which kept me too busy to spend as much time as I would have liked. He is a great conversationalist and we shared quite a few things we had in common. Welcome back anytime. Safe travels.
Fun guy, great conversationalist! Joined us for dinner on the deck both evenings he stayed with us. Loved hearing about his adventures. Someday soon when we hit the road for an extended trip to the west side of our great country we will definitely be looking him up to stay at his place!
It was a pleasure meeting Scott. He has friends in the area, so when he left on Saturday, he didn't return as his friends invited him to stay over there. He did let me know.
Enjoyed hosting US Photography would welcome back anytime.
I enjoyed having him here, so did my dogs. <g> He travels with a Frisbee. He's quite interesting and it was fun to exchange travel stories.
Fun to talk to as he has a lot of interesting stories.
Come back again!
I'm sure you will like him. He lives an interesting life and was here only a day. I look forward to him visiting again. He is welcome here anytime.
Had a great experience! Scott was super welcoming and friendly. Even fed me dinner the first night and gave me a jar of homemade spaghetti sauce to take on the road. Great location and loved learning about the Baca community. Stars gorgeous at night and heard coyotes at sundown.
US photography was a great host and we really enjoyed our stay. Crestone is a small town and there isn’t a whole lot to do, but if you’re looking to get away from the crowds and enjoy beautiful views, then this is definitely the place for you. Thanks for everything!
Scott could not have been nicer, more helpful and friendly host. Plus the location of his place is just stunning. I would recommend to anyone to go for a visit.
Scott met us on arrival ... had no issues getting our 22' Class C to the location. We took on some fresh water for the visit on arrival. Good conversations and knowledge of the area. Great night skies ... were able to see the Neowise comet. Very quiet & dark ... no noise or light pollution. Cut our visit from 2 to 1 night because of the distance from the Great Sand Dunes ... although you can see them from Scott's place, it was over an hour's drive to the dunes - no direct path.
If you are looking for a nice, dark, quiet, & remote spot with some water & good conversation, this is a great place.
