We are "young-at-heart" seniors ages 71 & 69. After retirement, our children grown and on their own, we decided to see as much of the USA as we can. Since 2018, we have been members of Harvest Hosts which is a similar type of organization as Boondockers Welcome. We love to ride our recumbent trikes on the various bike trails in the country clocking over 1,000 miles in the last couple of years and are active members of the Rails-To-Trails Conservancy. In addition, we have recently purchased new light-weight Hurricane Kayaks and will be hauling them on top of our truck for new adventures. We do not have pets. We are traveling in a totally self-contained 22' travel trailer (Sonic 190VRB) pulled by our 2018 Ford 150. As of 12/2020, we have clocked about 20,000 miles on our TT in the past 2 yrs. Our goal is to use Boondockers Welcome as another option to rest over-night in a safe environment while we are traveling to our next location. Thank you for allowing us to use your home as one of our options. We promise to be courteous and respectful as we rest for the night! :-)
I have electrical & mechanical skills. I am retired from the oil & gas industry specialized in the deep water exploration off-shore rigs. Wife is a retired insurance agent, specialized in company benefits and health insurance.
We like to boondock anywhere we feel safe with a quiet environment.
