We are avid RVers with a 38' Damon Challenger motorhome. Motorcycle fanatics which started our camping via tent and sleeping bag. Went to a motorhome with no steps in between. Love to travel and have children scattered across the country so we have good excuse to do so. Currently living in a log home near state forest land in northern lower Michigan, about 40 miles south of Traverse City. Love to be outside. Dan retired from two fire departments as well as the medical services coordinator for a major steel producer and Pat was in commercial insurance in the Dallas, Tx. area for 36 years. Both are American Red Cross volunteers. Dan is a disaster tech and CPR instructor for the Red Cross as well as an instructor for American Heart Association. We opted for early retirement at 63 and haven't looked back. Life is good!
CPR instructor for American Heart Association and American Red Cross. Hoping to continue teaching others as we consider it an important skill to have traveling. Licensed Emergency Medical Technician in states of Michigan and Ohio but hope those skills are not necessary on the road.
Haven't really boondocked yet although it would be easy enough with the motorhome. We tend to be pretty spontanious so we are sure it will happen. Looking for encouragement from you have already done it. Will travel almost anywhere. Have returned to Texas many times, partly because of family and friends and partly because we love all the areas to explore.
