Originally from Iowa, we decided to convert a school bus and travel full-time. We enjoy meeting new people and exploring new areas. There's always something fun to learn/do or story to hear! We might be a small crowd, but we're very respectful and quiet.
Our skill set ranges from light computer work, basic handyman projects, welding, butchering, gardening, milking goats, kidding assistance, general nutrition and cooking for a variety of diets.
We have 3 dogs and fondly remember our pet pig recently rehomed. Please don't offer us more adorable faces. We can't say no(haha).
None yet! Just getting launched.
We are based out of Livingston, TX.
We have a fully converted '96 skoolie with a motorhome title. Roof is raised, with rv windows and residential doors. Exterior is white, with black accents and green doors. The bus is 36ft with a 4ft deck on the back. We do not tow our minivan, my wife drives that separately.
We really enjoyed hosting this family. They are bold and innovative. We would welcome them to return!
We enjoyed hosting and getting to know this sweet family. The kids are well behaved, and genuinely interested in learning about their surroundings. I was impressed that they could identify plants and trees in our garden, and seemed to take care of each other at all times. The weather didn’t cooperate but I’m sure we’ll get to host them again soon.
Wonderful family wish they could have stayed longer, very friendly, nice children. They are welcome to stop by any time, can't wait to see them again.
Super great guess. My son has a Skooly also so they gave him a full tour and spent over two hours talking to him about it figuring out what he can do to his unit. Incredibly nice family enjoyed their stay here. Safe travels.
Great guests; extremely nice people! We really enjoyed talking to them. I probably bent their ears more than they wanted; I do not leave the farm very often due to the coronavirus, so I really enjoyed visiting with them. Have safe travels!
We really enjoyed hosting HopeBus!
What a remarkable family!
Their stay with us, was our gain.
Truly a family of hope!
An efficient and comfortable home on wheels to see. All their thought and effort in creating an unforgettable home, shows in the finish details. We're impressed.
Getting to know this wonderful family, makes us look forward to hosting them again.
Our best wishes of safe travels, and new discoveries to HopeBus.
