I like to talk about movies. I'm writing my first screenplay. It's a romantic comedy about expansive consciousness. I like taking pictures. I'm learning how to make short films. I'm an avid learner; I think I can carry on an intelligent conversation about most topics. I'm good at designing spaces. I know a bit about passive solar design. In a previous life in the electric utility industry, I developed and implemented a variety of energy efficiency programs for residential, low-income and small commercial customers.
I'm getting back into travel camping after decades of doing the career thing and remodeling rental properties. From July 5th through September 16th, 2015, I'm driving 11,000 miles from New Mexico through the Canadian Rockies to the Arctic Ocean, southward through Alaska, down the West coast, and back home again. Phew!
I am happily retired in magical, mystical Taos, New Mexico, USA. I live at 7,000 feet above sea level - at the bottom of the mountains. I love it here so much that I hardly ever leave town. But the Road is telling me to go on some adventures while I still can.
I just bought a 2001 Roadtrek 190 mini camper van. Very cute and compact. With the spare tire mounted on back, it's about 20 feet long. What a change from the 1967 VW camper bus I had back in the day!
