We are a laid back couple who grew up in the South. We've decided to throw it all to the wind and move into a van with our energetic rescue pup. Our goal is to meet other interesting people and see wild things. We are new to this lifestyle so would love any feedback or suggestions. Keep it groovy y’all.
We both have had our fair share in working in numerous restaurants, ranging from an upscale gastro pub to a small town coffee shop. Chelsey has also worked with children in a daycare and with dogs at a one of a kind bar+Dog park.
While Liberty was working on his bachelor for photography/media at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, he was a group leader for the school's outdoor program. He also has built hiking/bike trails at a Chattanooga land trust and worked in construction.
Pre COVID, we enjoyed going out to bars and local concerts. We love board games, reading, and exploring every chance we get.
If you’re into enneagrams, Chelsey is a 2 and liberty is a 7.
We have one rescue pup named Williard that is almost 2 years old. He’s a mutt, but has a good bit of staffy in him. He LOVES other dogs and shows excellent play mannerisms with dogs-both big and small. He’s still hesitant around strangers (especially men); we aren’t sure what his past entailed, so we are cautiously trying to introduce him to more people and ridding some of his anxiety when meeting strangers. However, if it’s not a good match he’s content hanging out in the van and snoozing.
We both grew up in a small town in West Tennessee, but have lived in Chattanooga TN for the past several years. While Chattanooga has been a great home for us, we’ve decided to stretch our wings and experience new places.

We were happy to be able to accommodate these Boondockers Welcome guests to Candy Cane Corral. They were very appreciative and respectful of our place and their dog, Will, had a wonderful time running in the fenced in backyard - even to jumping into the fish pond! It was a little cold but didn't seem to bother him at all!! We wish them Godspeed and safe travels as they follow their dreams.
They just needed a safe overnight place to park. Glad we could accommodate them.
