The BuffsJourney is all about our vintage motorhome heirloom we are in the process of attaining. We have been learning all about the RV life and now are ready to open up to hosting a few RVers in hopes to learn more and connect with others, or just provide a safe place for you.
I work in healthcare, but also very crafty, artistic, and Jack of all trades type of person and love to sing. My husband works in finance and is also a musician.
Two teens who love to babysit and meet new people, and a little guy they get a lot of practice with.
No, but we love dogs and have a private fenced yard if they need a place to run.
Not at this time
We live along the Space coast, with the famous surfing community of Cocoa Beach, the Cape Canaveral port, and of course NASA and Spacex. Orlando is only an hour away. We are a block from the river, making it easy to go for river walks and to a nearby village where you can grab some food and drinks or do a little shopping.
Our 1965 Ford Condor is an heirloom we are in the process of renovating. We are doing the mechanical repairs and will be bringing her home to Florida from Colorado to finish the renovation so right now she is pretty ugly but still runs!
Wonderful stopover.. quite residential location. Lovely host. We enjoyed hearing about her renovations on a family heirloom RV. We would love to stop again next time we come through.
Pleasant and friendly, very welcoming and accommodating. A great stay, thank you
Being able to stay in the Cocoa Beach area for free is a huge blessing. This host is giving up their driveway for boondockers. We can’t thank them enough! Our 29’ class C fit just right even with the slide out. We managed to avoid the tree branch but it was close since we are kind of tall. The residential street is narrow and quiet. We slept great and felt super safe. Cocoa Beach has so many places to park near the water ways or the beach. We went cheap and skipped Jetty Park and spent the day at Lori Wilson Park.
I arrived after a nice week of bike riding and paddle boarding, to a nice location and was warmly greeted by the hosts! They just happened to have eaten dinner prior to my arrival and offered me a nice bowl of Taco Soup, which was delicious!
The hosts offered to allow me to hook up electrical, but I didn't need it, and they offered me information about the area. Having told me about Jetty Park, I went there the next morning and used it as a nice place to park my RV and then go on a bike ride to the beaches near Patrick AFB. The park costs $15 to enter and you'll love it if you are a fisherman because there are so many places to fish in the channel.
I am actually meeting up with them again at a different location tomorrow and I am extremely grateful for their hospitality!
What a lovely host and a nice place to stay! TheBuffsJourney was so accommodating and friendly! We were offered hookups but didn’t need them. We did use their speedy WiFi. Getting there our GPS tried to take us down a road with a weight limit but not to worry, there is an easy way around! A nice spot in a quiet neighborhood. We were even sent away with a healthy goody bag! Thank you so much and best of luck on the Buff’s renovation! We hope to see you again :)
Neighborhood, driveway parking.. Host was very helpful getting me set up... Had to use blocks to level and really appreciated the help... Enjoyed sitting in front yard visiting... We also took a nice walk over to Coco Village... Thank you so much...
