We are a mostly-retired couple who loves outdoor activities and travel, we've been married for 40 years, our two kids have long-since moved out. Bill is an engineer and musician (saxophone) and Alice has done a bit of everything including woodcarving. We've tent-camped, hiked and biked for decades but recently decided to upgrade to the comforts of a camper van when we travel. Bought our first van in May 2020 and converted it into a camper over the next few months.
Bill : saxophone (rhythm and blues!), engineering, computers, bicycle touring.
Alice: woodcarving, gardening, cooking, very handy, good people-person!
So far we've only had a single long weekend boondocking. Will report back later on this subject.
Alice is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Bill is originally from Brockton, Massachusetts. We now reside in beautiful Newburyport, Massachusetts.
2020 RAM Promaster cargo van that we just finished (November 2020) converting ourselves. The Promaster van is what Amazon and the US Post Office are using for deliveries. Documentation of our conversion is provided here: https://www.promasterforum.com/threads/promaster-build-is-underway.91067/post-728425
You are welcome back anytime. I really enjoyed seeing your fantastic wood carvings.
They were great guests, nice RV, and great communication! They are welcome back any time.
Very nice folks. Happy to have hosted them and hopefully may see them again.
Downsized their home base, near the Atlantic Ocean, and are exploring our great country.
They are traveling in a class B van they completely built out themselves. Many great ideas and fine workmanship, too. They can be comfortable any place they stop the RV.
Big on hiking and they did a lot of that. Many good trails around here.
Great couple. Enjoyed hearing about their life. Kept us aware of their schedule which made it easy to host them. They are welcomed back anytime.
We enjoyed looking at their van and meeting these nice folks. They are welcome back anytime.
Great couple. We enjoyed their visit. They stayed for three nights and were very careful about masking up and social distancing. We had several nice conversations. They were very quiet and respectful of the property. I’d host them again anytime.
Was a real pleasure hosting these guests. Hope they come back sometime. They are welcome here anytime!!
Hosted B&A and they were really great people to meet. Great communication, were very quiet, and we had some great, short conversations. Would reommend them, and hope they can stop by again sometime!
What a blessing to see a lovely couple who is fully experiencing the joys of using their custom R.V. This couple is extremely enjoying a unit that they have nicely outfitted with all that is needed to enjoy an extended road trip.I’m glad they chose “Heaven’s View” to spend a portion of their journey. In our conversation we learned that we have a lot in common and not just in our R.V. experiences. I hope they enjoy safe travels and are welcome back any time they are in this area.

A fun couple just starting Van life and boondocking. Quiet and respectful.👍
Enjoyed B&A's overnight stay. They just converted a van to a camper.
Hope to see you again and enjoy your new adventure. Would have enjoyed to spend more time with them. They are welcome back anytime.
B+A stayed with us on a chilly but pleasant November weekend. They are a great couple, friendly and fun to talk to, respectful of social distancing and appreciative of the opportunity to stay. And did I mention their recently converted van - which they did themselves - is fabulous! Welcome back any time!
