My wife and I like to hike. We are just getting back into camping since becoming "empty nesters." I have worked in education for the past 30 years while my wife has been a nurse for 31 years.
I am somewhat of a handyman and enjoy fixing my own things. My wife has a great health background and keeps up with the latest medical news.
A four year old show poodle named Daisy. She may eventually be travelling with us but not right away.
We are new to boondocking. We are so excited to meet new people with similar interests.
We live along the Missouri River near Hensler, North Dakota
We have a 2003 motorhome without slide outs. It is listed as a B+ but has the options of a Class C. We do have a self-contained generator. Currently, we are not towing a vehicle on our trips but that may change. We also do not plan to travel with our small dog at this time.
I wasn't expecting to have Boondockers in Dec. so this was a pleasant surprise. Enjoyed meeting and visiting with this couple. Perhaps they will return for a summer visit when we can enjoy the outdoors.
RiverND arrived exactly as they said and did touch base with us during their travel. What a sweet couple. They respected our social distancing and wore their masks when saying hello and visiting outside some. They got in right before dark and were able to have dinner, relax, and get a quiet night's rest before leaving early the next morning. We didn't even know they were here. We hope to host them in the non-pandemic future so that we are able to visit some and they plan to be able to stay a little longer. If you get a chance, please host this couple!
