He shoots with Canon; she shoots with Nikon. He likes to get up before daylight for the once-in-a-lifetime photo opportunity. She likes to sleep in and take photos with the camera on 'auto'. He can walk for miles and miles for the best photo. She prefers to take photos from the driver's seat. He can boondock anywhere nightly; she likes level pavement and reservations. He loves the Delta and she loves the mountains. He hates ticks and she hates mosquitoes. Both have their own version of The Road Less Traveled.

Very special

We stayed at Neauman's for two nights on our way from florida to nebraska. Neauman is a very special person. We also had dinner together in our motorhome. He has amazing stories of his life to tell. He's a respectful person and very generous. He provided us with everything we needed. A ride between the endless fields of rice, corn and much more that was worth doing. Thanks Neauman! Staying with Neauman and Gail was like visiting old friends!

What lovely hosts! Neauman and Gail gave us a choice of places to park (we chose to park under the cover of a large garage, since there was risk of bad weather coming) with electricity and water. Their yard is a beautiful rural spot which had daffodils and hyacinths in bloom when we arrived. The 2 dogs are friendly and not intimidating at all. We shared travel stories and they gave us fantastic recommendations for state parks - we truly enjoyed the ones they suggested! They told us about the region including information about its history. Neauman offered to take us to a couple of nearby spots, but we were at the end of a 5 month trip, and were a bit toured out. Spending time on their property, enjoying their hospitality was just what we needed. They even went so far as to have us in their home for a supper of local fried catfish - talk about going above and beyond! We absolutely recommend visiting Neauman and Gail.
