Hi, we are Glen and Lisa your Hosts,
We are a Quaint Inn on a working farm and have been welcoming guests since 2016. We offer a two-bedroom self-contained apartment and a one-bedroom Tiny Farmhouse, along with a small campground. We encourage our guests to walk around and take full advantage of the peaceful surroundings. Whichever you choose, you’ll enjoy a tranquil stay.
Stay with us for an experience, unlike anything you’ve had before. We do have the best sunsets, and you can see the horizon for miles. Unlike staying in the city.
We have a few cows and acres of Raspberry Fields. Glen, my husband, works on the farm and is also a Contractor. Hosting is my full-time job. 🙂 The reason we love Hosting, is because of the interesting people we meet from all over the country, and world.
When you travel through Western Washington, don’t “stay” in the city, you can stay in the city anytime. You will love the freedom you feel when you get out of the town even a little way. We invite you to join us at the farm and enjoy the quiet life of stress-free living where your neighbors are nowhere around, and the sirens don’t sound at night. Welcome to the farm.
No, only farm animals.
This will become one of our favorite places. The hosts were extremely friendly, helpful, and generous. Our site was more than we expected. We enjoyed the scenery and seeing the animals was a treat. Just an all around wonderful experience. Thank you
Lisa was so welcoming, and the pastoral setting (including mooing cows) was awesome.
We couldn’t have asked for better hosts or a more perfect location for our getaway! The sights, smells and sounds on a farm are like nothing else; having grown up on one in a neighboring town, it was lovely how quickly it took me back to all of those beautiful memories. Brunch from Appel Farms and birthday treats from Just Desserts, followed by breakfast and lunch from Avenue Bread the next day. Give yourself the gift of a stay at Oostema Farmstead and make sure to support the local businesses while there, it’s a stay you’ll remember with great joy for years to come.
