Professional background, recently semi-retired from AAA So Cal/Texas after 8 years. In my spare time, I like to fix things, and build creative gadgets. Wife retired as an HR Professional, and loves to collect and refinished antique furniture pieces. Our families are spread over 4 states, and we enjoy traveling and seeing all of them. The Texas Heat and Cold Cycles are just a bit more than we'd like to adapt to each year . . . We both like to walk a lot, and enjoy the California temperatures, mountains, and natural Oceans/Rivers/Lakes.
I am in good shape (thanks to 24 hour fitness and moving my Wife's furniture) if you need a lawn mowed, bath tub re-caulked, vacuuming, or something heavy moved around - happy to help out with a couple chores in return for your generous hospitality! Always have my tool box in the car . . .
Quiet is always nice. RV Camps are generally ok, but sometimes I would like to leave the trailer while I explore and work online at a local Starbucks or go shopping - and this is not possible at many sites.
Raised in Southern California, job transfer to Texas 2009, now retired wife Vicki and I relocating from Dallas/Ft.Worth area in Texas to Sacramento area to join other friends and family . . and taking my time on my transition trip!
Small (5 x 8 inside) V-Nose Trailer, 1 year New - Insulated/Bedding/Lighting/Closets for full RV Comfort. 1 Wheel Each Side.
We had the pleasure of Joe staying with us two nights. He's kind, helpful and knowledgeable about lots of stuff. Easy going and fun to talk with. I was really happy he choose us to visit and hope he returns anytime. He even walked the dogs with me! That was a first and nice to have a dog lover over. Wilbur and Walter, well they of course loved him. Happy travels Joe.And much luck with the big move for you and Vicky. Gwen
