Anne and Wayne are current Southport, NC residents, previously from Vermont and Cape Cod. We have acquired an awesome Toyota micro-minnie and plan to do some serious travel in this little home on wheels. We are new to the RV world and are learning a lot as we delve into this mode of travel.
Wayne is a carpenter and Mr. Fix-It, along with 3D and Revit modeling experience. Anne was a special educator for many years and loves children. We are easy-going and happy people.
We enjoy traveling and learning about other cultures. We are great traveling buddies. Wayne loves good music, Anne loves a good book, and we both love bike riding, hiking, swimming and being outdoors exploring. Looking forward to this new chapter in our lives together.
Wayne is a carpenter and knows a lot about electrical and plumbing. He has built and refurbished many homes over the years. He likes to fix things. His newest venture is a complete interior remodel of our minnie-winnie. New wiring and new plumbing, along with a completely new floor plan, small as it may be. Every space is used to it's best vantage point. Still a work in progress, but getting there.
Anne is an organizer. She loves to make a small space inviting and efficient.
We work together on projects and are learning about what we can live without. Travel is on our minds.
We do not have pets at this time. We have had dogs all of our lives but right now we are enjoying the freedom of not having a pet.
Mountains of North Carolina and Charleston, SC so far in our minnie. We have lots of experience with primitive camping in a tent. California, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, Florida, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and all of the New England states, which we know very well.
We moved from Vermont (so beautiful, but so cold and snowy in the winter) to Southport, NC. We live right downtown and really enjoy our nightly walks through town and along the waterfront, even in the winter months. Balmy.
Thy were a fun couple to talk with and enjoy the fire pit in the evening. They are welcome anytime.
They were here too briefly, I enjoyed our conversation and the tour of their retrofitted Winnebago. Can’t wait too see the drone pictures when Wayne gets a chance to down load them.
