My name is Tim Been Full time for about 8 months. From fayetteville Arkansas.I have a cover and pad site at a friends ranch 8 miles south of Fayetteville.
8 months ago my wife and i made the jump to selling most of our property buying s 40 M/H and going full time visit family and friends all over the U.S.I am a artist so our plan was to make art shows as we went and see if we could make a little money to help with over head. Last summer we went to Bath Maine,to see Sarahs daughter and 18 month old twins went down the east coast stoping along the way to spend time on the beach. We came back to Ar to re group were going to head to Texas see my family then head to south texas take it from there. On Nov the 15Th 2014 i was out of town on a 1 day art show 3 Hr away,Sarah stayed home to keep getting thing together in the M/H,i could not get her to answer her phone so i called Donna the persons ranch we stay at.I got a call 1 Hr later they had found Sarah sitting in her chair with a hot cup of coffee in her lap she had a a massive stroke and had passed away.
This was totally unexpected and took the wind out of my sails. Here i was alone sold every thing have this M/H,i had lost my wife, best friend, lover and travel companion. I have now regrouped my thoughts headed to Ft Worth Texas were my family is.and spend Christmas with them I had decided to continue the dream we had planed for.
My sister asked me the other day what my plans were,i told her--- there is no plan---. We had set this M/H up for doondocking, added a lot of solar, had reworked every thing that needed up dating. We had planed to travel the Tx coast and by spring go to Big Bend National park.I had spent time in the late 60's early 70's doing just this but in a 1969 VW camper.Sarah had never been to that part of Texas and was so looking forward to the Adventure. So i will do what we spent months talking about.
Sorry i do not want to make this a downer bio,but this is my life now. I am now going to start some time after christmas.I am still in shock but feeling better and looking forward to this adventure. We had looked this web site several and were going to join. The people here sound like minded,so here i am.Right now i am in a M/H park really do not like it but it will work for the holidays. The only plan now is to meet people that think like me,a little out side of the box and head south.
looking forward to all the people i have not met yet and enjoy each and ever day.
I have a pad site in Ar but it is on someone else's property,at this time Donna (her place) prefers that i am the only one that stays there. She is a widow and in the country. But things change if they do i will let everyone know.

tagcat's Rig

I bough a 2004 class A 40' Monaco diplomat that was one owner with only 23000 miles keep in side.Looks new,has 4 slides and i pull a 2015 Grand Cherokee. The man that had the rig had done a lot of up grades.new tires, new t.v.system,residential frig, wood flooring, etc. He was going to travel he and his wife but she changed her mind at the last min did not want to be away from her grand kids,so he had to sell it and we bought it.I have added a lot of up grades my self, solar main thing and much more. In one of the photos i have a 24' car hauler.to long for me so i sold it and bought a new Grand Cherokee for this new trip.
