Ferme Micku Valley Farm

Do you know or have you hosted this user?

MiKu Valley is a 68 acre (27 hectares) piece of paradise in rural Eastern Ontario, tucked a bit out of the way but minutes from the villages of Lansdowne and Mallorytown. Almost centered between Toronto and Montreal and not that far from Ottawa.

Heavy clay soils and bald rock outcroppings characterize the heartland geography of the UNESCO Heritage Region we a small part of. Just minutes from the St. Lawrence River, three provincial and national parks; we are fortunate to live amongst abundant and diverse wildlife... Many of the reasons we fell in love with this place - we hope you'll do the same.

Back again!

Stopped for cool, but sunny visit just before Halloween. The stargazing was spectacular again on a clear, crisp night. Brought another grandkid along this time, who equally enjoyed the farm animals. Nice, level parking spot with lovely views. Thanks MiKu for your hospitality!

Amazing place

The place is amazing, and huge. The hosts were kind enough to show us their farm, and their animals. Our family enjoyed staying at their place. We were Evan able to stargaze, which we aren't able to do otherwise in Toronto. Overall, we enjoyed staying at this place, and we'll stay here again!

Quiet, scenic rural location

Ferme Miku is located in the scenic Front of Yonge Township, not far from the St. Lawrence River. Out hosts were very welcoming and helpful, we had a nice visit - our teen granddaughter especially enjoyed the smaller farm animals, chickens and the apple-loving horse, and was thrilled to take "Jasper", a big friendly dog for a walk! We had an unobstructed view of the Milky Way at night, with no light pollution!

Three thumbs-up for this BDW host! Thanks again!
