We are a couple from Maine, setting out to explore our beautiful country. It is something we have always wanted to do, and figured why wait until we are retired? Who knows what things will be like by then!
Brian is from Downeast Maine and is a hardworking handyman-- he loves to do odd jobs, especially outdoors.
Melissa is from Northern Maine and loves nature, cooking, and crafts.
We are very laid-back, friendly folks and have a passion for learning; including hearing others stories from traveling the country.
Two young & able bodies that can help with general labor, domestic chores, or even walking your pets!
Maine is a beautiful state and I highly recommend anyone to visit it. Ithaca, New York was lovely with all of its waterfalls. We are anxious to travel west and see the other half of the country.
Downeast & Northern Maine
1985 15' long one-axle travel trailer. Propane stove, small fridge. We do not have the water hooked up, just a small electrical cord is all we use for electricity. Perfect size for just the two of us and it tows like a breeze. We call it "Our Nest". We tow the camper with a 2010 Ford F-150.
Brian and Melissa were a pleasure to be with during their short stay with us. It brought back memories of our own travels as we camped in so many places and met such great people along the way. This young couple arrived late one evening, and went about scouting out the area. The next morning they surprised us with how much they knew about the surroundings. We had a lot to learn from them and enjoyed every minute possible with them. We highly recommend them to anyone who might have the occasion to meet and greet them. Thanks for the visit Brian and Melissa. JCandM
This young couple brings a breath of fresh air to us older hosts....They seem to be on a path to join their relatives across the country and build a future, on their return to Maine.
We found them to be interesting, polite, congenial, knowledgeable, considerate and by all means honest good people.
