I am self sufficient and I am retired. I travel with my dog and am enjoying my adventures. I enjoy meeting other adventurous people who travel with well mannered dogs.
I sew face masks to give to people to help protect them from the Covid. I kayak the local rivers and know the areas pretty well if you have your own equipment.
I have a well mannered dog that is a trained Therapy Dog. He does tricks and loves to entertain kids with disabilities.
I am new to RV boondocking and wish to be able to enjoy the travels when I am not home.
I reside in Cape May, NJ and Dunnellon, Florida. I have overnight parking space in my side driveway with water and outside shower available in season.I also enjoy Winters in Florida where there is overnight parking in my horse paddock. There is water available at this site and an outlet to plug into for small appliances.I don’t have horses anymore so there is a nice space to park under a big tree. Both locations are seasonal as it is too cold in NJ in the winter for me and too hot in Florida for the summer. Since I travel quite frequently, you need to contact me for availability. Thank you.

Rooster's Inn was a wonderful host! She ensured we were well taken care of, telling us exactly where to park and offering use of her outdoor shower. She offered another night's stay, and we were excited to chat by the fire with her tonight but unfortunately must be in another state for a gig this week. She is super friendly and helpful and the spot is great, so we highly recommend Rooster's Inn for your Cape May visit.
We had such a wonderful time, weather was perfect, beautiful quiet location. Our host was wonderful, accommodating and helpful to make our stay relaxing and fun.
I can’t say enough positive things about Capemayb!! Second time we have stayed at her house and will go back again. Had the opportunity this time to sit around the fire and get to know her better. A fantastic woman and an awesome host! Thank you!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I stayed for my sons Coast Guard graduation at Cape May. Nice level open field. Easy to get in, set up and depart. 10 minutes to Coast Guard training station. 10 minutes from Cape May Lewes Ferry depot. Bicycle distance from pretty much everything. Had a very pleasant stay and my host was super! Thank you very much. Ill be back.
First experience, and wow did this host set the bar high! GORGEOUS property, couldn’t have asked for anything nicer! Down the street from all the Cape May action. After setting up the camper we made several trips to local sites.
Super easy pull in and out next to the shed. Horse pasture at rear of property, 2 horses always in view. Host readily greeted us on arrival (on her lawn mower!) and we chatted about everything under the sun. She couldn’t have been more welcoming to us. We kept shaking our heads for 2 days wondering how we got so lucky to have landed on this property.
What an amazing find and wow did she set the bar high! Thank you so very much for hosting us!
Capemayb was the most accommodating, sweet, fun, sociable, generous host ever. Her home is a short bike ride from two beautiful beaches. Her driveway is level. She offered free electric and water and even encouraged me to leave my bag of garbage in her dumpster. She has a GREAT sense of humor and fun! I really enjoyed talking with her about her adventures on the road and off. She brought me coffee and delicious pastries on my last day there. I really hope I get to visit with her again!
Host was very hospitable, gracious, & accommodating. Site was very spacious. Thanks so much hope to meet again 😊
We enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing stay in this beautiful location. Our host made us feel welcomed and gave a lot of helpful information about the area. Short bike ride to the beach, couldn't get much better. We would definitely return if our travels bring us this way again.
We had the pleasure to spend a night at Roosters Inn, it was beautiful well kept property. We where greeted by beautiful horses lovely meadows. The host was a very gracious and helpful lady who went above and beyond to help us settle in.
Thank you for a wonderful stay.

By far, one of my favorite BW stays! Our host was a joy and the surroundings were amazing! Thank you! Until we meet again…
This was our second stay here and Beverly is the nicest and most knowledgeable person about cape may. Can’t wait to come back again.
Host was nice and had really good communication about our stay. Convenient location and great town!
We were honored to be boondocking guests at Rooster's Inn and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Parking is just as described and is a perfect location for everything in Cape May. Such a lovely, super friendly and welcoming host. We enjoyed spending time with you around your campfire. We'll see you again. Thank you!
We could not have asked for a better host! She made us feel right at home. The property was lovely and the outdoor shower was a godsend after a long bike ride and day at the beach. Plenty of room to maneuver our little rig and sit outside with privacy. Capemayb had great information about where to eat and cycling routes for us. 100% positive experience and rating!!!
We had a great time. Lot of things to do in Cape May. It was also very relaxing. Would stay there again in a heart beat. Host was very friendly.
There is plenty of room and quiet. The hostest made a pleasurable stay even more pleasant. Wonderful nature trail, sunset beach and Cape May lighthouse all within walking distance.
Our host was a delight. She knows the area very well and has a great place to park. We can’t wait to go back to cape may and stay there again.
It adds up to the perfect stay when you have such a great location and an incredible host. We so appreciated forming new friendships at Roster's Inn. Words cannot describe how gracious, warm, at home our host made us feel. What a blessing. Safe travels to our host, and we look forward to staying at Rooster's Inn again soon.
We had a great weekend at Rooster's Inn. The site has a very large nicely mowed field bordered with a horse stable at the far end. There is plenty of space to maneuver a large rig with ease. With the location being between Cape May and West Cape May it was perfect for biking through both locations and has lots of beeches to chose from. Although we did not meet Capemayb because she was away, she was gracious and kind enough to allow us to stay anyway. We hope to return at another time and finally get to meet her.
Thanks so much Capemayb.
We spent a nice overnight boondocking in the field at Rooster's Inn after coming off the ferry. There are two pull-in spots to the field (no specific driveways per-say) and we used the west-most spot just past the telephone pole as it was flatter (about 150' west of the speed limit sign). No wire clearance issues and the field was solid as advertised with our 40' 5er despite an overnight rain. Pulled in relatively close to the two sheds and had a nice level spot. Field is wide and no turn around issues at all. As of April 2021 the pin shown on google maps via the BW page was on the adjoining property so make sure you pay attention to where you pull in or you might surprise the neighbors! Enjoyed watching the horses behind the lot and close to the Cape May lighthouse and Battery 223 (that the kids enjoyed playing around). Thanks for having us Capemayb!
We are humbled to be the first RVers to stay at Rooster’s Inn! CapemayB is a wonderful lady we connected with at first greeting. She opened her Inn and her heart to us as we settled in. The parking area is a big field next to her Inn and only a mile or less from the many wonderful things in Cape May. A friendship blossomed through the evening. Rooster’s Inn is a fabulous stop, and CapemayB is a wonderful host - Best of the Best! Thank you for having us and showing your ❤️ with the kindness and support we have come to know in the BW community! We’ll see you again soon!
