We have been retired for about 10 years and bought a 21ft travel trailer in 2013. While we loved the travel trailer for towing to a location and hanging around for a week or so, in 2014 we bought a 2002 Pleasure-Way Lexor TD, 19 feet of well designed RV to allow us to be more mobile. We can now travel and park in a spot made for a large car.
We have traveled through 30 states and 2 provinces. Longest single trip was Tennessee to Alaska to Southern California ans back home. 3 monthe and a little over 10,000 miles in our Pleasure Way.
I am computer literate and can be of some assistance. I am a die-hard DIYer and am rapidly gaining experience in RV systems - water and electrical (including Solar). Need a little help with your shared location, I can serve as a bit of a general handyman.
From beaches to mountains, rolling hills to prairie grass to forests - we love them all.
Tellico Village in Loudon, Tennessee. About 30 miles SW of Knoxville
Boondocking rig: 2002 Pleasure-Way Lexor TD. 19ft 7in self contained Class B. Much like a Roadtrek 190 series. No wild paint job or other attention getting items, no slides.
While their visit was short it was sweet and inspired us to be just like them. seeing our future through their eyes Loving retirement ,kind and respectful. Enjoying life to the fullest and taking their time ,stopping to breathe in their experiences. welcome back anytime and we hope to see them one day in their home town
