My husband retired in October 2017, after 37 years in the fire service. I “retired” in January 2020 from a management position with my local YMCA, so we could commit to a lifestyle of full-time RVing/traveling around the USA.
We have 5 adult children and 3 grandchildren scattered over several states.
We love being active and participate in different outdoor activities. Visiting all the national parks is part of our traveling bucket list. Also, a goal I have is to try to run a race in every state we stay.
We have appreciated the beauty and diversity of all the places we have visited. Meeting new people and experiencing the local community is always a positive part of the journey.
We are practicing Christians, and enjoy attending local services when possible. We are definitely blessed and grateful for the opportunity to live this life!
Make every day a good day.
P.S. I am looking for PT remote work if anyone has a lead.
Craig is very mechanical, hands-on, problem solver. He has built homes, makes his own repairs & upgrades on our jeeps, fixes things on the RV, etc. Craig has a wealth of knowledge and researches things well.
I am organized, good at computers and administration. I’ve always had leadership / management type positions. I also love to bake.
Family & friends backyards. (:
The wide open spaces of Quartzite, AZ. Otherwise, it’s been a random place here and there.
Although new to Boondockers Welcome (Sep 2020), we’ve enjoyed every place so far.
Redding, CA. Both our dads were pilots in the Air Force so in our childhood years we each lived in different places. We intended to keep traveling until we feel the call to stop to settle down somewhere.
2013 Tiffin Phaeton. 4 slides. Tan/black/gold paint job. We pull a 4 door Jeep Rubicon.
We had a great time visiting with Tumblewieds. They are so sweet and inviting. Glad they got to stay for worship and Bible study on Sunday morning. Stay safe and have fun, my friends. Also, your Bible study teacher wanted me to share https://prowlinwithpetenpen.com/ with you. Hope Tumblewieds will visit again!
Glad to meet you all. Good luck on your journey. Your welcome back anytime.
